History:
(Cable II#7 (fb) - BTS) - Fleeing from Lucas Bishop of Earth-1191 with the first mutant child born since M-Day when the Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) had reduced Earth's mutant population to around 300, Cable (Nathan Summers) traveled to the future of Reality-80521.

    His time machine damaged, Cable was only able to travel into the future with the young mutant girl, but they continued to be pursued by Bishop who could travel both forward and backward in that timeline.

    Some time after 2276 AD, Cable escaped Bishop for an extended period of time.

(Cable II#10 (fb) - BTS) - The maddened and obsessive Bishop began destroying society to minimize the space in which Cable could hide from him. Australia was destroyed first via tactical nuclear weapons. A year later came the Great European Water Panic, using a U.S. government weapon that could poison entire water supplies. This was followed by the South American wildfires (using an advanced form of napalm that was barely withheld by the ocean) and then a combination of bioweapons and toxic chemical releases (apparently also leading to some civil war) in Africa and Asia. A series of global disasters continued, eventually wiping out every continent except North America. Antarctica, being already almost gone, was left alone.

(Cable II#7 (fb) - BTS) - Although details were not specified, Hope did not have the most usual childhood or life before coming to New Liberty, a hidden city contained within a protective force field, allowing it to escape the chaotic world around it.

(Cable II#7 (fb) - BTS) - Cable eventually brought the mutant girl to some unspecified time period around 2360 A.D. (see comments), seeking out New Liberty, having gained limited knowledge of its existence from his own time period. Using this knowledge, Cable breached the the force fields, arrived in the town of New Liberty, where he met a woman named Hope.

(Cable II#10 (fb)) - As Cable emerged from a portal into New Liberty with the mutant girl, Hope immediately disliked the look, sound, and the very idea of Nathan (Cable). However, she immediately fell in love with the mutant girl.

    Hope periodically checked in on the mutant girl, offering advice and questioning Nathan's care of the girl: her nutrition, her attire, her lack of a name, and her lack of speech (which she blamed on Nathan's tacit nature). When Nathan noted that maybe she would someday learn to mind her own business, the moment led to a awkward connection, the first moment of their slow, strange romance.

(Cable II#7 (fb) - BTS) - Although Hope thought it strange that the girl called her father by his name, Nathan, she didn't pry. The rest of New Liberty assumed Nathan and the little girl were father and daughter, and Cable considered it best to let them assume.

(Cable II#10 (fb) - BTS) - Within his first few months in New Liberty, Nathan fell in love with Hope.

(Cable II#7 (fb) - BTS) - With the girl remaining unidentified, Nathan called her "Little Girl" and Hope called her "Little Momma"

(Cable II#8 (fb) - BTS) - When Hope and Nathan first got together, she teased Nathan for being overprotective of the young mutant girl. 

(Cable II#8 (fb) - BTS) - Hope and Nathan were together a long time before he trusted her enough to spend even a few minutes alone with the young girl. This was a source of constant tension between them.

(Cable II#7 (fb) - BTS) - Nathan and Hope eventually fell in love, and they unofficially adopted the young mutant girl as their daughter. 

(Cable II#7 (fb) - BTS) - After Nathan married Hope, he buried his weapons in a moisture-proof box in the ground beneath a concrete slab behind their house. However, he also booby trapped the grounds around their house with enough Semtex to take out a fleet of tanks.

(X-Force / Cable: Messiah War#1 (fb)) - Hope watched as Cable played ball with "Little Momma."

(Cable II#7 (fb) - BTS) <Days 575-577 of (presumably) Cable's time in New Liberty (see comments)> - Hope got up with "Little Momma" each morning (and presumably most mornings).

(Cable II#7)  <Day 578> - When "Little Momma" ran screaming into Nathan and Hope's room and jumped on their bed, Hope tried to shush her as it was way too earlier for that kind of noise, and Hope warned her that she was going to wake her father. As Nathan woke up, the little girl begged "Nay-Nay" to come outside and play with her, and Hope reminded Nathan that she had gotten up with their daughter the mornings before...

    After Cable supervised their daughter playing for awhile, Hope told them to come for morning meal; when their daughter, wanting to continue playing, began throwing a tantrum, Hope advised her, "Young lady, I know you're not speaking to me that way."

    During the meal, Hope asked Nathan if he got tired of calling her "little girl," as she figured they named their children where he came from, since somebody had named him. When Nathan told her that it was not his place to name her, Hope asked why not, as he was her father. Rather than respond, Nathan considered his arrival to New Liberty until they were interrupted by an explosive sound that Nathan appreciated meant that someone else had breached New Liberty's force field.

    As Cable rushed outside, he instructed his daughter to stay with her mother and finish her meal, denying her insistence to go with him. They found a pair of soldiers, one dead, one injured.

(Cable II#7)  <Day 579> - Hope was lying in bed with Nathan. Realizing he couldn't sleep, Hope kissed him passionately, but they were interrupted by another BOOOM sound, indicating that others had penetrated the force field. 

(Cable II#7 - BTS) - The Cockroach men (wearing full body armor that covered their true nature) announced their presence, noting that they were the government of the USA and that they were there to help.

(Cable II#8 - BTS) - Seeing the invaders and realizing that this New Liberty in this timeline wasn't safe, Cable resolved to depart quietly and unobserved...and that he couldn't even tell Hope (see comments). 

(Cable II#8) - When Hope asked Nathan what was going on, he asked her where the girl was, but Hope asked if she wasn't with him. Nathan began to accusingly ask Hope how she could let the girl, but Hope cut him off, telling him, "Don't you dare. She always follows you."  

(Cable II#8 (fb) - BTS) - As Cable searched for the mutant toddler, at some point, the cockroach men captured Hope and several other townspeople and bound them in ropes and drugged them in some fashion.

(Cable II#8 - BTS) - As Cable located his daughter, the President told the gathered townspeople (at gunpoint) that the world had grown even scarier than they had remembered; they had brought protective materials so the townspeople could survive the harsh environmental conditions and could help them retake America, "one glorious state at a time!"

(Cable II#8) - Seeing Hope amongst the cockroach men's prisoners, Cable considered his daughter to the be the priority and prepared to leave with her, but she pressured him to rescue Hope. 

(Cable II#8 - BTS) - Cable then recovered his weapons he had buried.

(Cable II#8 - BTS) - The cockroach men revealed their true forms to the townspeople, who fled in terror.

(Cable II#9) - Looking at Hope, bound and unconscious, Cable felt he could still hear her voice, telling him, "Do something, Nathan!"

(Cable II#9 - BTS) - When their daughter suggested he just shoot all of the cockroach men and rescue "mommy," Cable explained that they were outnumbered and would be killed by doing that.

    Sending his daughter into the woods to hide with a bag (containing the triggers to the buried Semtex) and wait for him, Cable then went in hard and fast, shooting, charging, and forcing his way past the cockroach men and then freeing Hope. As she was still anesthetized by whatever they'd used, he was forced to carry her as he fled. As Hope started to awaken and they were reunited with their daughter, the cockroach men caught up with them again.

    The lead cockroach man introduced himself as the President of the United States of America and told them they could be very useful if they let the cockroach people reach their full potential. The president then offered Cable the position of secretary of defense in exchange for his wife and daughter being allowed to live, unmolested. Hope retorted, "Unmolested? What do you think you've been doing to our home, you son of a $#%@?"

    Instead, Cable gave his daughter the signal, and she detonated the Semtex he had planted long ago. Most of the cockroach men were blown apart by the explosives. 

    Hope questioned whether the cockroach men were there after him, as it seemed coincidental that while no one had breached New Liberty's outer field in even her grandparents' time, the cockroach men had done so a relatively short time after Nathan had done so. Unaware of what Bishop had done to this world, Cable assured her that it was not about him.

    Having long ago planned to detonate the grounds, teleport outside and then jump to the future with his daughter, Cable could not leave his beloved wife, and so he brought them both with him.

    After they retreated to the woods, Hope refused to allow herself or their daughter to follow him if he was leaving everyone to be killed. Cable told Hope of his plan to lead the cockroach men far enough away that Sky and the others could close the force field behind them and save New Liberty. Hope was concerned by the idea of being locked out of New Liberty, but when Cable told her he was saving New Liberty and that he had another way for them if she trusted them, and Hope assured him that she did trust him.

(Cable II#10 (fb)) - As Cable, Hope, and their daughter led the cockroach men away from New Liberty, the angered president sent his army after them.

(Cable II#10 (fb) - BTS) - The President promised a presidential medal of honor to the soldier who could bring back Cable's head.

(Cable II#10 (fb)) - Over the next six months, Cable found the weaknesses in the roaches' armor, and as he killed a lot of roaches while surviving in the barren environment, he found himself wishing that the roaches were edible.

    The president and his soldiers continued to stalk Cable and his family, pursuing them into the wastelands where the food was scarce.

(Cable II#10) <"Day 758" - see comments> Cable tried to convince Hope and their daughter to eat something, but Hope told Cable he had awake for days and needed to eat, while the young girl stated that she was not hungry. Later, they managed to find some heavily salted meat and overripe vegetables at a trading post, and both Hope and their daughter ate those.

    As Cable was shaving and enjoying their daughter's company, the President ambushed them, holding Hope at gunpoint and forcing Cable to drop his weapon, kick it to the president and then put on a control collar. The president ordered Cable to kill both Hope and their daughter, and as Cable struggled to resist, their daughter picked up Cable's knife and stabbed the president. Hope then removed the collar, and Cable put it on the president, forcing him to detail his rise to power and the current fate of the world.

(Cable II#10 (fb) - BTS) - Cable cut the President in half at the waist.

(Cable II#10) - Cable, Hope, and their daughter walked away, leaving the President for dead.

    Cable told them that they were going to head east, where he was from, and Hope teasingly asked that he didn't just fall from Mars one day. Hope swiftly assured Cable that while she teased him, she would follow him anywhere, and that he knew that.

(Cable II#10) <Day 783> - As Cable helped Hope and their daughter along, he considered that they both were tired and starving, but he spotted a settlement a few kilometers away and they could be there by dawn. In the meantime, he thought what they could barter in exchange for food.

(Cable II#10) <Day 784> - As they approached the settlement, they met armed resistance. Cable fired and took out their attackers, but not in time to prevent Hope from taking three shots to the chest. Cable applied pressure to the wounds but to no avail, and Hope died.

(Cable II#10) <Day 785> - After burying Hope, Cable journeyed again with their daughter, whom he soon after named Hope in her adoptive mother's honor.

    While earlier issues gave specific time periods for Cable and the baby's travels to Earth-80521, this arc did not...or I missed it.

• The last time period I have documented is 2276 AD, which was the  time period in Cable II#6 had most recently encountered Bishop before fleeing.
• Cable II#8 notes that Cable traveled nine decades forward in time to New Liberty, but there was also the annual and its unspecified time periods...
• Cable II#10 noted that en route to New Liberty, Cable skipped across the USA, timesliding forward every so often to obscure their trail, "decades passed."
• Then again, the recap page of Cable II#8 also notes that Cable had spent 2.5 years in that community, while #7 noted (as Cable noted the disturbance that proved to be the cockroach men) in-story that he had been there 578 days (while 2.5 years would be 912.5 days) AND that it had been two years (730 days) since Bishop had last found them...
• The notation of 2.5 years was on an intro page, and so maybe it's less valid than Cable's notation.
• I think it makes sense that the two years since Bishop had last found them means that the 578 days represents the amount of time in New Liberty, with perhaps another approximately 150 days spent skipping across the USA and timesliding every so often between their last encounter with Bishop and their arrival in New Liberty.
• In Cable II#10, Cable notes it to be Day 758...presumably indicating it to be about 180 days (6 months) 
• That being said, Cable's daughter seems like she's at least 4-5 in these stories, rather than less than two if the mission was only 579 days in when they first encountered the cockroach men, as she was a newborn when he teleported away with her.
• I'm less concerned about how long Cable was there before the cockroach men arrived as I am what year it was at the time of the Cable II#7-10 story.
• X-Force / Cable: Messiah War#1 called it 2276, but again, that is not consistent with the information in Cable II#8 or 10, as detailed above.
• Anyone know anything more specific about its time period?
