History:
(Drax I#3) - Drax interrogated R304 about information about missing
supplies, ships and people, but R304 was a mere scrap farmer, who had no
info that could help Drax. R304 mocked Drax for not being the greatest
detective because after a whole week Drax still had no leads at all.
R304 suggested to Drax to leave one of the pirates alive to interrogate
the next time he fought them. Drax left and R304's body was stolen. Drax
heard the robot's scream and quickly returned, but only found the head.
R304's head told Drax that his body was stolen to feed the serpent. Drax
took the head with him and after a quick visit to Ora's bar returned to
his ship n the desert. He encountered two looters stealing parts from
his ship and ran after them. R304 reminded them to leave one of them
alive and Drax tossed the robot head at one of the looters to knock him
out. Drax left R304's head in the desert while the looter brought him to
the base of the pirates, who were followers of Fin Fang Foom.
(Drax I#5) - R304's head was used as a part in Fin Fang Foom's portal to Maklu-IV. After Fin Fang Foom fled with the eggs through the portal, Drax, Terrax and Torgo followed him. R304 revealed were the portal led and that he could not be removed or else the portal would not be working anymore. Drax was forced to leave R304 behind while he, Terrax and Torgo confronted Foom on Maklu-IV. After Drax and Torgo returned, Drax took R304's head and took it with him for his next quest.
(Drax I#6) - R304's head enjoyed some time outside the Space Sucker when Drax and his crew were celebrated on a peaceful world for returning a kidnapped child. Ora and R304 tried to convince Drax to stop seeking vengeance against Thanos. They agreed that Drax was throwing away his life. Ora returned R304's head to the Space Sucker when they were forced to flee the planet when an attack by space pirates led by Killer Thrill threatened innocent lives.
(Drax I#7) - One of the children carried around R304's head while Drax seemingly came to an agreement with Cammi and Planet Terry that they would leave Drax and his crew alone. The head realized that Cammi and Planet Terry had secretly left behind cryo-fusion detonators, but it was too late to stop their activation. R304 and the rest of the crew were frozen in place and picked up by Cammi and Planet Terry and delivered to Pip the Troll, who offered his help to Drax.
(Drax I#8) - R304's sat on the top of Drax's chairback while Drax piloted the Space Sucker with its evergrowing number of passengers. While some hated how full the ship was, R304 was glad that he didn't have a body anymore and couldn't go anywhere. When space pirates shot the ship R304 fell from the chairtop on the head of one of the children. The robot head apologized.
(Drax I#11) - R304's head sat on top of a console while Cammi talked to Drax. When Cammi teased Fin Fang Foom R304 told her that is was unwise to do this.
