History:

(Mystic Comics I#9/4 (fb) - BTS) - The Prince of Good was some kind of ancient magician. He fought the Demon "in primordial times" and imprisoned the creature behind a barrier in a cave.

(Mystic Comics I#8/20 - After the Demon had been released by Davey Drew, the Prince of Good reappeared to continue their battle in the cave, just in time to save Davey from the Demon.

(Mystic Comics I#9/4) - The Demon tried to strangle the Prince of Good but he punched the Demon into the wall, causing the cave to collapse and bury the Demon under tons of rock. The Prince of Good helped Davey out of the cave. Assuming his foe to be dead, the Prince of Good bid Davey farewell and vanished in a cloud of white smoke.

But the Demon still lived; he burst from the ground and went to destroy New York City. The Prince of Good eventually reappeared, promising that for every person the Demon had killed, he would suffer a thousand fold. The Prince of Good cast the Demon from the top of the Empire State Building to the street below, ignoring the Demon's pleas for mecy; once again assuming his foe to be dead, the Prince of Good covered the impact crater made by the Demon's fall on the street below.

With his foe seemingly buried for all eternity, the Prince of Good apparently disappeared to parts unknown.

Comments: Created by an unidentified writer and Howard James.

As noted by Ron Fredericks, the Prince of Good's pointed ears, red hair and red cape bring to mind the Son of Satan. Like Daimon, his pointed ears might indicate a part-demonic heritage of his own.
