History:
(Haunt of Horror II#3/1 (fb) - BTS) - At some point in the past he fathered his daughter Veronica.

As the foremost expert on demonology and exorcism Dr. Craig Miller became the author of Demonology and Soul Possession.

(Haunt of Horror II#3/1) - One evening Craig sat in the library of his mansion in Connecticut and asked his daughter to close the window because the wind was almost like a hurricane. Instead of closing the window though she enjoyed the wind blowing around her nightgown. Craig was concerned for her health, closed the window himself and then asked for some explanation. He instead witnessed his daughter asking who he was and hitting on him because she was possessed by a demon, who sought to eventually take possession of Dr. Miller.

(Haunt of Horror II#3/1 - BTS) - Dr. Craig Miller called the office of Gabriel the Devil-Hunter, whose assistant Desadia answered the call. He explained to her what was going on with his daughter and it was pretty obvious to Desadia that she was possessed. She then went to Gabriel to tell him that Miller called and needed their help. Gabriel wasn't surprised that a demon would go after an expert on possession like Miller.

(Haunt of Horror II#3/1) - Gabriel and Desadia found Dr. Miller sitting in the dark in his mansion. Dr. Miller felt honored to meet Gabriel after writing about his work and apologized for not greeting him at the door because he felt so weak. Desadia got Dr. Miller something to drink while Miller told Gabriel that the demon possessing his daughter had tried to kill him and that his daughter was resting in her room upstairs. Gabriel and Desadia checked on the daughter and administered a sedative.

They returned to Dr. Miller downstairs and Desadia prepared some food for him. Dr. Miller felt far better physically, but also psychically because Gabriel was there to help. Seconds later all the dishes on the table began to float and exploded above Dr. Miller, Gabriel and Desadia. The light went out and Gabriel lit a candle and saw a shadow trying to attach itself to Dr. Miller, who felt suddenly freezing cold. Gabriel helped Miller fight off the demon before it could possess Miller and they watched it disappear and return to Miller's daughter Veronica, whose began screaming upstairs. Desadia remained with Dr. Miller while Gabriel went upstairs to deal with the demon.

Moments after Gabriel threatened Veronica's life to force the demon out of her, Dr. Miller saw Desadia suddenly engulfed by an otherworldly slime. Dr. Miller drank rat poison and called out for Gabriel. Dr. Miller once again felt the cold, but this time allowed the demon to possess him. Dr. Miller was killed by the rat poison and the demon died with him. Desadia was freed from the slime as soon as the demon was destroyed.

"We of Darkness and Slime" doesn't sound like a real name, but rather something the demon called itself or itself and its allies. It had been identified that way for years on the website, so I'll just keep it that way.

Eye and hair color are impossible to determine because it was a black & white comic.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Dr. Craig Miller has no known connection to:

Veronica Miller

(Haunt of Horror II#3/1) - Veronica was the daughter of author Dr. Craig Miller. She got possessed by a demon that was actually after her father. She made weird advances towards her father after enjoying the winds at the open window a bit too much and Dr. Miller eventually called the exorcist Gabriel after the demon tried to kill him.

Veronica was resting upstairs when Gabriel and his assistant Desadia arrived. They went upstairs to check on her and Gabriel administered a sedative to her because he felt that she wasn't possessed at the moment.

Veronica got once again possessed by the demon after Gabriel aided her father in not getting possessed by the creature. Her scream was heard throughout the house and Gabriel rushed upstairs to her room to confront the demon possessing Veronica. He eventually threatened to kill Veronica with a knife and the demon fled before it lost its host body. With a knife in front of her eyes Veronica was justifiably scared and wanted answers, but Gabriel had to rush downstairs because the demon was not defeated yet.

We of Darkness and Slime

(Haunt of Horror II#3/1) - The demon possessed Veronica Miller to get close to author and possession expert Dr. Craig Miller. It made advances towards Dr. Miller while possessing his daughter's body and vowed to eventually possess him.

While Dr. Miller called the offices of the exorcist Gabriel the Devil-Hunter, the demon tried to take possession of Gabriel, but Desadia interrupted it and Gabriel took the job to deal with Veronica's possession.

The demon attacked Gabriel and Desadia in the dark at Dr. Miller's mansion with fire that burned away his shirt to reveal the cross on Gabriel's chest. It was clear to Gabriel that it was the demon's way to make it clear that it knew who Gabriel was.

The demon went after Dr. Miller after he had dinner with Gabriel and Desadia after the lights went out, but Gabriel lit a candle and the demon approaching Dr. Miller as a shadow. Gabriel helped Dr. Miller resist the possession and the demon was forced to abandon Dr. Miller and possess his daughter Veronica again. Gabriel rushed upstairs and found slime trickle from the ceiling. Gabriel mocked the demon for possessing a weak girl and its failed attempt to possess him twelve hours earlier. The demon blamed Desadia for the failed attempt. Gabriel then threatened to kill Veronica's body so the demon would die with her, but the demon left Veronica at the last moment before Gabriel's knife hit. It then engulfed Desadia downstairs in slime and possessed Dr. Craig Miller, who allowed it to happen because he had drunk rat poison as soon as Desadia was attacked. Dr. Miller died with the demon still inside him and the demon died with him. Desadia was freed from its slime as soon as the demon was dead.
