History:
(Daredevil I#234) - Lemar was a minor criminal in New York City. When the Rose put out a $5,000 bounty on the vigilante/irritant Madcap, Lemar took notice.
One day, Lemar was carrying a box near Madison Avenue and 23rd Street when he happened to see Madcap walking down the street, being filmed by his ally Dollar Bill. Lemar quickly went to a pay phone and called his friend Guido, telling him where to find Madcap so Guido could collect the bounty; in exchange, Lemar wanted $1,000 of the reward.
Guido came up in a taxi cab and drove over Madcap, attempting to make it look like a simple hit-and-run, but Madcap's regenerative powers allowed him to survive and simply get up again. Lemar witnessed Madcap's revival and telephoned Guido again, telling him if still wanted his help it would cost him "Aretha Franklin."
