History:
kipple-fautoriv-winewomen(Motormouth & Killpower#12/2 (fb) - BTS) - A dimension-spanning minotaur from Andromeda, Kipple accidentally teleported into the temple of an unidentified god on the planet Fautor IV. The gullible people of Fautor IV worshipped Kipple as a god, and he lived a life of luxury, enjoying the females of the species and using occasional displays of his mysterious power to keep his followers loyal.

(Motormouth & Killpower#12/2 (fb) - BTS) - Dimension-hopping adventurers Motormouth and Killpower arrived on Fautor IV. There Killpower, whose powerful body possessed a child-like but violence-prone mind, earned the wrath of 40,000 dedicated worshipers by telling the high-priest that Kipple was a stupid name for a god, and he mocked a statue of Kipple as being a "'moo' cow."

(Motormouth & Killpower#12/2 - BTS) - As Killpower and Motormouth teleported away again -- seeking to return to Earth for some fish and chips but instead transporting to another planet -- the high-priest called on Kipple to destroy the blasphemers.

(Motormouth & Killpower#12/2) - Enjoying some wine and the company of a pair of women, when the high priest told him to let the demonic blasphemers feel his mighty wrath, Kipple reluctantly agreed to take care of the matter, "Well, if I must."

Kipple then teleported to the location of
Motormouth and Killpower, asking if they were the ones who had dared to mock the mighty Kipple, and Motormouth happily placed the blame on Killpower. Charging Killpower, Kipple asked the "defiler" what had had to say in his defense, and Kipple said, "Moo," as he dodged, grabbed Kipple's horns and drove his face into the ground. kipple-fautoriv-explode

Killpower then climbed on Kipple's back and grabbed his hair, riding him and telling Motormouth to look at him. Less than amused, Harley told him to "just deck the ?@*!"

In response, Killpower punched Kipple in the side of the head, stunning him, and then charged his gun, stuck it on one of Kipple's horns and then punched him through another portal (either from Kipple's or his own technology) back to the high priest and his followers.

As a piece of the gun was missing (presumably intentional or just dumb-luck on Killpower's part), as Kipple emerged back at the Church of Kipple -- where the masses prepared to greet their triumphant master -- the gun exploded, apparently killing Kipple.

The high-priest announced, "Kipple is dead! All hail his slayer -- the great Killpower!"

(Motormouth & Killpower#12/2 - BTS) - Meanwhile, back on the other planet's mountain, a prophet, having witnessed the conflict, was inspired to wrote up a series of commandments for his people.

Kipple was "dimension-spanning minotaur from Andromeda."

I would think that would mean that he was from somewhere in the Andromeda Galaxy, but perhaps he's from a dimension known as Andromeda.

We really don't know anything about his origins, and I doubt we ever will...

    Where is Fautor IV?

I'm presuming that it was somewhere not in the Andromeda Galaxy, as it would have been odd to describe Kipple as being from Andromeda when he went to their world, which was in Andromeda...

However, as Kipple was specifically dimension-spanning, Fautor IV could be in some other dimension as well.

As Motormouth and Killpower traveled across space, dimensions and time, it could also be that their encounter with Kipple on Fautor IV took place in the distant past or far future.

    Who was the previous god?

It is unclear whether the people of Fautor IV worshipped a bovine god, and Kipple took advantage of being mistaken for that being.

And/or, perhaps their previous god was named Kipple, and the minotaur just took that name for himself...but the way it was phrased, that upon arriving in the temple, "Kipple thought he had it made for life," makes it seem to me that his real name was indeed Kipple.

Maybe the previous god was not bovine, but after Kipple arrived, the people of Fautor IV abandoned their old god in favor of the one in the presence...and then they made the bovine statues, etc.
