History: (Captain America I#342) - K'Bali and pilot M'Daka were entrusted by Prince T'Challa of Wakanda to transport a newly-made Vibranium shield to the USA for use by T'Challa's comrade, Steve Rogers, alias the Captain. They arrived in their Wakandan vessel near the Los Angeles estate owned by the Captain's ally D-Man. At first, the Captain's allies D-Man, Nomad and Vagabond were alarmed by the craft's appearance, but the Captain calmed them down and entered the vessel himself.

Within the vessel, K'Bali and M'Daka introduced themselves to the Captain and opened a link to T'Challa in Wakanda as they officially presented him with his new shield. When the address ended, K'Bali began to make a formal presentation to the Captain about the shield's construction, but they were interrupted by the arrival of the Falcon. As the Falcon alerted the Captain to a crisis involving the Serpent Society, the Captain asked K'Bali if they could transport he and his allies to New Jersey to investigate. K'Bali agreed, noting the Captain was the "honored friend" of her king. K'Bali and M'Daka let the Captain and his allies out at a gas station then continued on their way back to Wakanda.
