Powers/Abilities: Lucy Jones could mentally control other people's minds. She may also have been able to read other people's minds.

    Lucy was confined to a wheelchair, but whether she was paralyzed or suffered from some other neurological and/or orthopedic issues that limited her ability to walk and/or stand are unrevealed.

History:
(Ultraverse Zero: Death of the Squad#1 (fb) - BTS) - Lucy Jones was confined to a wheelchair under unrevealed circumstances.

(Ultraverse Zero: Death of the Squad#1) - Via one of the jumpstarts of the Entity on the Moon, Lucy -- then a junior high school student -- found she could suddenly tap into other people's minds.

(Ultraverse Zero: Death of the Squad#1 (fb) - BTS) - From his base in the earth below the crushing ocean depths, Rex Mundi -- apparently Earth's first ultra, empowered by the mothership from which the Entity had originated -- monitored the recent influx of empowering "jumpstarts" in Los Angeles.

(Ultraverse Zero: Death of the Squad#4 (fb) - BTS) - Soon finding herself able to control human thought, she chose the most handsome men around her to be her servants and lived in a large home. Enjoying the benefits of her power over the next six months, Lucy started thinking about where her powers might lead her, and she began to plan a future of wealth and comfort.

(Ultraverse Zero: Death of the Squad#4 (fb) - BTS) - Rex Mundi instructed his mechanoid servant NM-E to kill a number of ultras in Los Angeles and to save the Squad for last.

(Ultraverse Zero: Death of the Squad#4) - As Lucy enjoyed a massage from one of her servants while another held her cocktail, NM-E burst through a window and prevented Lucy's plans from being realized.

(Ultraverse Zero: Death of the Squad#4) - NM-E almost certainly slew Lucy.

    Different artists, but Lucy looked more Asian (perhaps Indian), or even Caucasian in Ultraverse Zero: Death of the Squad#1, but was more clearly African-American in Ultraverse Zero: Death of the Squad#4.
    Maybe she could alter perceptions of her appearance, and the images showed how she appeared to those under her influence..,

    As a junior high school student (often referring to 7th-9th grade), Lucy was likely only 13-16 years old when she was empowered, and she died 6 months later.

    This profile was completed 11/01/2025, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25^th anniversary 's celebratory event.
