Powers/Abilities/Functions: H.A.P.P.Y. is a non-sapient computer assistant program based on the personality of Harold "Happy" Hogan. When installed in the Rescue armor, H.A.P.P.Y. can access and read files and operate armor functions such as the suit's heartbeat scanner.

History:

(2020 Rescue I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Tony Stark designed the Hosted Analogue Program Pre-Y2K (H.A.P.P.Y.) before the year 2000 as a back-up computer program in case his other computer programs went down during the clock shift on January 1, 2000. Tony gave H.A.P.P.Y. the personality of his friend Harold "Happy" Hogan.

(2020 Rescue I#1) - When Tony Stark was absorbed into an artificial intelligence, Bethany Cabe retrieved H.A.P.P.Y. from Tony's files to serve as an onboard computer system in Pepper Potts' Rescue armor. Pepper had H.A.P.P.Y. share its files on Amanda Armstrong with her, as she needed Amanda's DNA to recreate Tony's body.

(2020 Rescue I#2) - H.A.P.P.Y. continued to assist Pepper as she retrieved DNA from Jude, an agent of Hydra. H.A.P.P.Y. located Jude's office by using the heartbeat scanners in the Rescue armor.

Even at the time of publication, Y2K was becoming a pretty topical reference.
