History:
(Uncanny X-Men I#200) - Michelle Devereaux served on the tribunal of the International Court of Justice to try the charges of crimes against humanity that the mutant Magneto faced. The trial was conducted at the Palais de Justice in Paris, France, with Michelle serving alongside judges from the UK, China, Russia and USA. Sir James Jaspers served as prosecutor with Gabrielle Haller in defense. Haller persuaded the tribunal to only try Magneto for crimes he'd committed since being de-aged by Alpha the Ultimate Mutant. Jaspers then called on Russian Admiral Gregori Suvorov, who testified about Magneto's attack on the submarine Leningrad in which the entire crew were killed. As Jaspers grew increasingly inflamed and angry at Magneto in his arguments, Michelle told him to compose himself. Michelle questioned Magneto herself and he testified that he no longer sought to dominate the world. Before the tribunal could reach a judgment, the Palais de Justice was invaded by Fenris, who attempted to murder Magneto. When the floor of the courtroom fell apart due to the fighting, Magneto helped save the tribunal, Jaspers, Haller and his friend Professor X as they fell. Fenris pursued Magneto below ground and despite the aid of Rachel Summers against Fenris, they grabbed Ms. Devereaux and threatened to kill her. Fenris asked Magneto if he'd sacrifice his life to save the humans they were threatening. Magneto agreed that he would. Professor X soon determined that Fenris had no powers when they weren't holding hands and the moment Xavier separated them, Sir James attempted to club Andrea von Strucker to death. Magneto restrained Sir James and Ms. Devereaux noted that Magneto had the power to kill Fenris but restrained himself, demonstrating more humanity than Sir James. When Fenris regained their powers, they blasted a hole into the riverside wall, unleashing a powerful current that swept them away with Xavier and Magneto. When Sir James declared "Good riddance, I say-- to bad rubbish!," Ms. Devereaux slapped Sir James in the face. Rachel Summers accompanied Gabrielle Haller and Ms. Devereaux back to the court as Haller mused that she represented the past, Ms. Devereaux was the present and Rachel was the future. Ms. Devereaux stated that she would have probably accepted a plea for mitigation of sentence if Magneto had been found guilty but with the trial in disarray, Magneto's legal status wouldn't be determined that day.

(Magneto: Dark Seduction#1) - After Magneto became the head of state in Genosha, Michelle Devereaux was placed on a United Nations committee to advise on the situation. Joining Michelle were Gabrielle Haller and Gregori Suvorov, all three of them chosen because of their past encounters with Magneto. Dr. Alda Huxley, who had appointed Magneto head of state, was angry at the committee for appointing her as advisor on mutant protocol. Haller explained that they no longer thought she was an impartial observer in the Genoshan situation. Instead, they appointed Magneto's own seeming daughter the Scarlet Witch as the United Nations liaison.

(Magneto: Dark Seduction#2) - Suvorov informed the committee about Magneto recently defeating a rebellion in Carrion Cove. Carrion Cove contained technologies which the committee feared Magneto could use to increase his own power. When Suvorov suggested it was time for an over action, Michelle Devereaux spoke against an armed assault against Genosha. Instead, Suvorov informed the others that he had told the Avengers that the Scarlet Witch was in danger, knowing they would intervene in Genosha to help her.

    When Magneto's trial was brought up again in X-Men vs. the Avengers I#4, almost everyone in court for Uncanny X-Men I#200 came back - but not Ms. Devereaux.

    For some reason, she had red hair in her appearances in Magneto: Dark Seduction, which made her look a lot younger.
