Powers/Abilities: Cyrus presumably possessed various abilities associated with his nature as a lupine humanoid, including superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, auditory and olfactory senses, as well as nocturnal vision. However, he did not demonstrate any abilities, and when the ground collapsed beneath him, he hung helplessly from an edge, demanding help from his minions, rather than simply pulling himself to the surface.
It is unlikely that he had magical
durabilities and only vulnerabilities to silver, wolfsbane, etc.
He commanded a number of werewolf
minions, who carried various firearms.
History:
(Nightside#2
(fb)) - A werewolf born an unrevealed number of centuries ago, he lived
through hard times when humanity hunted their kind with guns and silver
bullets.
During an intricate plot by several bodies working with and against each other, and apparently instigated by Arkady Dread, a series of events were set in motion to replace all five leading bosses of the factions. Members of the Black Dragon Society, while searching to obtain the Three Lost Treasures of Tao, helped five underlings replace their leaders through assassinations, blaming each on another faction of the Others.

other faction leaders -- Bertha

of the "Big People" -- Arlan Cyrus suspected his rival Simon
Benedict of the Vampires to be the culprit. Regardless, he planned for
a packed house for a midnight showing of "The Howling" 1-4.
Cyrus agreed to meet with investigator Sydney Taine after he had welcomed the crowd.
(Nightside#2) - With Sydney Taine and her assistant Ape Largo in the crowd, Arlan Cyrus addressed the crowd, welcoming them as friends to the party and guaranteeing them a good time as there was never trouble at his club. He discussed that there was talk of war starting up on the Nightside, but he assured the crowd that it was not his doing, as he liked thinks to be quiet.
He further related how he had lived through hard times in centuries past, and he urged the others to keep the secret (of their existence from humanity to avoid being hunted and slaughtered by them).
However, the club was suddenly
shaken by what was initially suspected by some to be an earthquake, and
Cyrus was shocked as the floor dropped out beneath him. Catching the
edge of the floor with one hand, he ordered his minions to help him,
but then the Worms of the Earth grabbed him, pulled him down, and
apparently slew if not devoured him.
(Nightside#2 - BTS) - Cyrus' former subordinate Sal grabbed the microphone and advised the crowd that the Worms were controlled by the Little People and so they must have slain Cyrus. Adding that they were trying to move into their territory, he insisted that this meant war.
(Nightside#4 - BTS) - Sydney, took out the Black Dragon Cult, discovered the plot and forced the new heads of the factions to pay her 10% of their profits for the next year to keep their secret.
