History:

(Iron Man I#160) - Muffy Cuddle was a television actress who was arranged to serve as Tony Stark's date for a charity event at the Long Island Zoo. At the time Tony was struggling with alcoholism but Muffy was quite a lush and when Tony tried to decline a drink, she eagerly took his for herself. By the time Tony had finished his speech for the event, Muffy had become very drunk and Tony wanted to take her home, but when one of his guards was found dead he sealed up the building to protect the guests.

However, Muffy was still quite drunk and wandered out of the building where she was nearly mauled by a tiger which had been freed by the Serpent Squad. Iron Man saved her from the tiger and returned her to the building.

Muffy had run out of alcohol so turned to the flask she carried for another drink when suddenly Death Adder of the Serpent Squad grabbed her. Before the Serpent Squad could harm her, Iron Man returned. In her drunken state, Muffy wasn't certain whether what she was seeing was real or a dream.

After Iron Man defeated the Serpent Squad, Muffy collapsed in a state of delirium, the Serpent Squad having frightened her into believing snakes were everywhere.
