Powers/Abilities: Card Shark's powers are unrevealed. He could be a regular human dressed in a shark costume, a shark mutated to humanoid form, a human mutated into shark form, a humanimal, or a mutant, among other possibilities.

He throws around playing cards, but whether they do anything special is unrevealed.

History: (Spider-Boy#20) - Card Shark was a new villain in New York City who threw playing cards and wore a card-themed costume. He announced his intention to eat a passerby missing a shoe but was attacked and stopped by Spider-Boy, who sensed the danger to the person after picking up his lost shoe.

(Spider-Boy#20 - BTS) - These events were glimpsed in a hypothetical scenario narrated by Spider-Man (Peter Parker) to Daredevil (Matt Murdock) on Earth-616.

Can Card Shark exist on Earth-616? He only appeared in two equally hypothetical scenarios narrated by Spider-Man. Spidey was familiar with many of Spider-Boy's enemies, so he equally could have pulled an existing one from the roster or extrapolated a new baddie based on the kind of foes that Spider-Boy dealt with. While the present scenario with the one-shoed person was definitely imaginary, there is nothing preventing Card Shark from appearing in the flesh in the future.

This profile was completed 09/03/2026, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25^th anniversary 's celebratory event to represent Spider-Boy's characters and stories.
