Purpose: Protecting neighborhoods and people from local threats, occasionally uniting against larger threats

Base of Operations: Various locations throughout the USA, with some (like Aaron Fischer) being mobile

First Appearance: The United States of Captain America#1 (August, 2021)

Powers/Abilities: The Captains Network's members have varying degrees of athletic abilities and skills.

    Most wear some variation of a patriotic costume in red, white, and blue, and use some form of metal or wooden shield with patriotic colors, etc.

History:

(The United States of Captain America#1/2 (fb)) - Determined to free his fellow captives in a Roxxon Corporation work camp, unhoused teen wanderer Aaron Fischer painted American flag colors on his overalls and Captain America's shield's colors on a shield of his own, after which he took down several guards in the work camp and freed those detained there.

(The United States of Captain America#1 (fb) - BTS) - Aaron continued to work to help others when he could, and he adopted the alias Captain America of the Railways.

(The United States of Captain America#2 (fb) - BTS) - Aaron Fischer met Nichelle Wright, the Captain America of Harrisburg, and they made alliances as part of a Captains Network, taking the ideal of Captain America and using it to help others locally.

(The United States of Captain America#1 - BTS) - The Speed Demon -- mind-controlled by Commander Krieger and the Superior and with his identity was at this time unrevealed -- adopted Captain America's scale male costume and stole his shield.

(The United States of Captain America#1) - Captain America and the Falcon encountered Aaron Fischer who told them of his mission and the Captains Network. Rogers saved Aaron from a bullet fired by Superior, which instead only grazed Aaron's right arm.

(The United States of Captain America#1 (fb) - BTS) - Rogers and Wilson began compiling notes on the Captain Network members they encountered.

(The United States of Captain America#2) - Rogers and Wilson freed a framed Nichelle Wright and protected her from an assassination attempt by Superior.

(The United States of Captain America#3 - BTS) - Pursuing Speed Demon across the country, Rogers and Wilson learned that Joe Gomez, the Captain America of the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas, was a target.

(The United States of Captain America#3) - Despite Rogers and Wilson's efforts, Joe was injured by Commander Krieger, but he nonetheless helped stop Speed Demon from using Captain America's shield to kill mayoral candidate Prescott.

(The United States of Captain America#4) - Aaron and the Campus Captain America (Arielle Agbayani) joined Rogers and Wilson, plus Winter Soldier (James Barnes) and USAgent in traveling to Cheyenne Mountain Complex, which was under assault by Superior, Speed Demon, and Commander Krieger.

    They failed to stop the villains from liberating the Hate-Monger, although they did capture Superior and Speed Demon, whose mind-control was broken. In the process, they united with the complex's Captain Jeremy Merrick.

(The United States of Captain America#5) - Aaron, Arielle, Joe, Nichelle, and Jeremy were joined by seven unidentified members of the Captains Network in aiding the Rogers, Wilson, Barnes, and Walker in an assault the villains base in a defunct satellite station in Mount San Antonia.

   Jeremy had USAgent help him set of an energy transmitter, and -- after Superior and Krieger had been taken down -- he recaptured the Hate-Monger within a small cube.

    Steve Rogers deferred a public speech -- in place of the planned Hate-Monger speech -- to the others, and Aaron proudly spoke up, ensuring anyone listening that the Captains Network had their backs.

    "Fifty states. Millions of people, and you gotta do is go fifty feet or fifty miles and suddenly, no one looks like you, and it feels like a completely different country. Or planet. Look, we get it, but...isn't that also kind of amazing?"

One of the seven to nine unidentified members who showed up for the final battle against Hate-Monger, Superior, and Commander Krieger.      He is a large African-American, presumably male, with a football uniform-motif, including a helmet and shoulder pads.      He carries a large and thick, rectangular shield      Other than that he either operates locally in some part of the USA or is mobile throughout the USA, we don't know much more about him. --The United States of Captain America#5 Note: It would seem very likely that he has a background in football, but perhaps he just likes football...

One of the seven to nine unidentified members who showed up for the final battle against Hate-Monger, Superior, and Commander Krieger.      No skin is seen, so his ethnicity is unrevealed (for that matter, he could also be a woman under the heavy costume).     The football helmet would offer increased protection to his head, but it would also limit his peripheral vision.      The asymmetric hexagon pattern of the presumably metal shield reminds me of some sort of traffic sign.      Other than that he either operates locally in some part of the USA or is mobile throughout the USA, we don't know much more about him. --The United States of Captain America#5 Note: It would seem very likely that he rides a motorcycle, but maybe he just wears the helmet for protection and to hide his secret identity.

It could be him if the wings missing from the helmet was an art error

One of the seven to nine unidentified members who showed up for the final battle against Hate-Monger, Superior, and Commander Krieger.     She is an apparently Caucasian ("white") woman with brown hair (although her mask may include a wig to help her disguise).      Other than that she either operates locally in some part of the USA or is mobile throughout the USA, we don't know much more about her. --The United States of Captain America#5 Note: Her mask and appearance offer little about his background, abilities, etc.      Kevin Garcia suggested that she may be from Arizona due to the similar pattern to the state flag.      I initially ASSumed this to be a headshot of the woman with the business suit guy, but that woman has an "A" on the forehead of her mask and lacks the red and white stripes that this woman has.

However, since he was trying to emulate Captain America to some degree, it could fit...would be more convincing in there were four smaller stars to the right of the big star...

One of the seven to nine unidentified members who showed up for the final battle against Hate-Monger, Superior, and Commander Krieger.      He appears to be a dark-haired Caucasian ("white") male.      Other than that he either operates locally in some part of the USA or is mobile throughout the USA, we don't know much more about him. --The United States of Captain America#5 Note: His cowboy motif makes it seem likely he is from a rural region and has some skills as an equestrian, and perhaps he rides a horse, uses a lasso, etc. Or maybe he just wanted to look like a cowboy... Kevin Garcia noted that he reminded him of the Texas Kid.

At least seven to nine unidentified members showed up for the final battle against Hate-Monger, Superior, and Commander Krieger.      The brunette woman has a darker complexion, and she may be Latino, African-American, or just a darker-skinned Caucasian ("white") woman. She carries a large, discoid, presumably-metal shield similar to Captain America's.      The man in the business suit appears to be Caucasian ("white"), and his rectangular shield looks something like a thin briefcase vs. just a solid block of wood.      Other than that they all operate locally in various parts of the USA, we don't know much more about them. --The United States of Captain America#5 Note: I had originally thought the woman was this person, but that person has a star, rather than an "A," on her forehead and also red and white stripes at the top of her mask. Additionally, her skin tone is lighter.      I had originally thought the man was this guy, but that guys has wings on mask and a darker skin tone, as well as a different appearance of the mask around the nose.
