CABLE TRUCK

Classification: Terrestrial vehicle (probably extradimensional - see comments)

Creator: Unrevealed (likely Cable, or at least modified by him)

User/Possessors: Unrevealed (likely Cable)

First Appearance: Hot Wheels Character Cars (2017)

Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Cable truck is a terrestrial vehicle whose full capabilities are unrevealed. It appears to be a heavy rig, capable of pulling large loads across land. The driver's cabin can tilt forward for ease of engine repairs, which may incorporate futuristic technology. It appears to have heavy-powered guns above the wheels and the front cabin is likely armored.

History:

(Hot Wheels Character Cars (fb) - BTS) - The Cable truck was a large rig designed to pull heavy loads, likely driven by Cable to establish his safehouses or help with X-mutant base (etc) transport.

Comments: Created by uncredited designer(s).

I'm not even sure how to classify this. My bet is this vehicle comes from the same Earth as the Wolverine car, which may be Earth-50810 (where the Mega Morphs are from) and these vehicles are precursors to (or derived from) those giant machines. Other cars in this 2017 range are Gambit, Black Panther, Hulk, Groot Go-Kart (yikes!) and Iron Man, although I consider only the Iron Man or Cable vehicles to have any remote connection to their Earth-616 heroes, Iron Man especially so, given his flamboyant nature. The Cable truck does carry through nicely with Cable's obsessive X-design focus with his uniforms/costumes.

The toy appears to be rated for ages 14+, which seems kinda high to me.

CLARIFICATIONS:
The Cable truck has no known connections to:

• SPIDER-MOBILE - designed by Tinkerer, given to Spider-Man as an anonymous gift, controlled remotely in an attempt to kill him--Amazing Spider-Man I#130
• or any other "Cable" or four-wheeled character-based vehicles
