History:
(Solo Avengers#16/2 (fb) - BTS) - Joey Barker worked in
production on the business trade journal The
Manhattan Project.
(Solo Avengers#16/2) - Joey checked on his
editor, Pamela Douglas, to see if she had been thinking about dinner.
He was unaware that she was suffering mentally, hearing voices in her
head and unaware that this was actually the mind of her cousin Heather
Douglas, aka Moondragon. He was surprised to see her with her head down
on her desk, and he asked her if she was alright.
Looking at Joey, despite knowing that he was a good
person, she could only see a "hateful scuzzbag who wants me dead." She
told him that she was going out with her boyfriend, Tom,
that night, and he replied, "Your
funeral. See ya!" as he closed the door and departed.
(Solo Avengers#16/2 - BTS) - After learning what
was going on, Pam departed Earth in Moondragon's spaceship Sensia II
and traveled to Saturnian moon Titan. She apparently did not give any
notice, and as she became the cosmically-powered Sundragon, she may or
may not have ever returned to Earth or contacted Joey in any fashion.
Comments: Created by Peter B. Gillis and Don Perlin.
There's not much to go one with Joey. It seemed like
he liked Pam and was hitting on her. His "Your funeral" comment made me
feel like he was jealous and was making a dig at Tom.

A business trade journal apparently based out of Manhattan, New
York,
it was edited by Pamela Douglas, and Joey Barker was on the
production
team.
Pamela abruptly left, apparently without
explanation or notice, traveling to the Saturnian moon Titan and
becoming the cosmic heroine Sundragon.
--Solo Avengers#16/2
Note: Unless Sundragon
ever contacted anyone at her former office, they presumably would
think
that Pam died or was kidnapped or something.
