History: (She-Devil: Survival of the Fittest#1 - BTS) - The brother of Axe-Man, a notorious Chinese gangster, was transporting a case of diamonds aboard the cruise ship Sea Goddess. While in the South Pacific, the ship was raided by the Salty Dog pirates, who took the diamonds and left. Immediately afterwards, the ship was attacked and sunk by a sea leviathan, killing everyone onboard.
(She-Devil: Survival of the Fittest#1) - Seeking to avenge his brother's death and recover the diamonds, the Axe-Man assembled dozens of mercenaries and several artillery vehicles. They flew in a luxury cargo plane with service girls towards the location of the tracking device inside the case: The Monster Island. The Axe-Man dismissed the rumours about the Monster Island and ordered his men to capture and torture the thieves shortly before the plane touched down and they disembarked.
(She-Devil: Survival of the Fittest#2) - The Axe-Man and his men located and surrounded the Salty Dog crew, who were accompanied by Shanna. The standoff was interrupted by a dinosaur attack, and the Axe-Man ordered his men to capture the woman alive, so she could be kept as a slave. His men chased the thieves towards a cave entrance, where Axe-Man executed one of his own wounded to prevent the smell of his blood from attracting more predators. The cave opened into the Lost City of Terror, an underground Nazi city built out of gold and inhabited by Neanderthal Nazis. The Axe-Man estimated the city to be worth more than anything else on the planet and planned to kill the Neanderthals and control it. His subordinate suggested to lure the ape-men outside by using their women escorts as bait.
(She-Devil: Survival of the Fittest#3) - The plan failed spectacularly, as the bait was ignored by the Neanderthals but attracted the raptors. On the run from them, the Axe-Man spotted a building door and barged inside before locking it, leaving many of his men outside to be eaten. The only way out was upstairs omto the roof, where the Axe-Man once again held the thieves at gunpoint.
(She-Devil: Survival of the Fittest#4) - The Axe-Man ordered his men to shoot his enemies, but Shanna and the pirates ran towards them, pursued by raptors over the rooftops. The Axe-Man order his men to stand ground, but the fight quickly devolved into chaos. The Axe-Man singled out the Salty Dog captain Dirk Redmond, believing that it was he who killed his brother. The Axe-Man shot Dirk's pistol out of his hand, but Dirk managed to catch it again. The Axe-Man and Dirk both held a gun to each other's temple, and Dirk shot first, blowing the Axe-Man's brains out.
(She-Devil: Survival of the Fittest#4 - BTS) - With the Axe-Man dead, the few survivors of his crew allied with the Salty Dog pirates and used the Axe-Man's plane to escape the Monster Island together.
