Powers/Abilities: Antons have powerful wings that permit them to fly in chaotic winds. Their bodies are bulletproof with their bristle-covered torso's resisting minor impacts; however, they are still susceptible to explosives. Their multi-jointed arms and legs appear to extend an extra 20% when required. They apparently do not carry hand weapons and favor strangulation to eliminate enemies like humans. Their bodies easily adapt to Earth atmosphere and they have potentially adapted to hostile environments after their planet's apparent years lost in deep space. Despite their overt primitive aggression, they have advanced scientific and engineering knowledge, with at least their leader having an awareness of robotics.

Traits: Antons loyally follow a single leader, who distinguishes itself with a golden headdress. They follow a large-scale flock/pack strategy in assaults. Antons have no discernible gender.

History:

(Marvel Mystery Comics I#18/6 (fb) - BTS) - For unrevealed reasons, the planet Torsa, inhabited by the aggressive Antons, broke its orbit and careened wildly through interstellar space.

(Marvel Mystery Comics I#18/6) - Torsa was captured by Earth's gravity and rapidly pulled close but in chaotic unpredictable patterns in the Earth's atmosphere, causing destructive chaos on Earth. The winged Antons fled across the maelstrom of intense winds and high air pressure, initially for safety but also to invade and turn Earth into a replica of Torsa. Brilliant scientist Prof. Zog sent his robot Electro against Torsa, but the wind currents sent it out of Zog's control; Electro still killed many Antons until the aliens overpowered it. Electro was taken to the Anton leader, who claimed to understand how to control the robot and use it to help remodel Earth into a new Torsa. The bulletproof Antons defeated Earth soldiers, although Zog and his aid Dr. Forde found their Z-Ray guns stopped the Antons. Zog and Forde used a Magno-Generator to return Electro to their control and the robot clobbered many of the aliens. However, the Anton leader deduced the location of the Zog's control unit and blew it up. The Anton leader viciously ordered that Zog and Forde be burned alive, but the duo escaped. Zog directed Electro to hurl a large bomb that killed the remaining Antons. Meanwhile, Zog and Forde flew in their air-ship to Torsa and dropped hundreds of "super-bombs" that obliterated it.

Torsa was dubbed a planet in-story, but it appears to be too small for that; at best, it's the size of Earth's Moon, so by modern standards, it'd be classed a planetoid.

The planet Torsa was the home of the Antons. For unrevealed reasons, it had careened out of its usual orbit, spinning wildly through interstellar until it was captured by Earth's gravity and rapidly pulled in close but in chaotic unpredictable patterns in the atmosphere. This devastated Earth cities. The aggressive Torsan beings called Antons flew across in the maelstrom and sought to subjugate Earth, making it like Torsa. However, Earth scientist Prof. Zog sent his powerful robot Electro against the Antons, while he and his colleague Dr. Forde rocketed in a spaceship to the alien planet and dropped hundreds of "super-bombs" that completely destroyed Torsa.

  There were no close-up pictures of Torsa, so it's unrevealed if the native Antons lived above or below the surface.
