Exposure to heat reduced his size and eventually could reduce him to liquid. He was renowned for his immense fighting skills among the Frost Giants and wore a magic belt that made whatever armor he wore indestructible.

He was also a bit of a dunce that got his head cut off at one point for being stupid.

Weight: Unrevealed (1,8 tons. (variable as Frost Giant); 6,12 tons (as Brood); by approximation)

History:
(Incredible Hulk II#422 - BTS) - According to Siingard, Tuurgid sought his frost-encrusted crown.

(Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe#1 (fb) - BTS) - He was a champion among the Frost Giants.

(Incredible Hulk II#422) - One day Tuurgid caught Vali Halfling at the door of Siingard's abode and delivered him to his regent because he didn't recognize who he was. Tuurgid wasn't sure whether Siingard was moved by Vali's mewling and watched in anticipation as Siingard draw his sword to bring judgment to the outsider, but instead Tuurgid got decapitated by Siingard for having the audacity to capture their old ally Vali.

SECRET WARS III HAPPENED

BTS - He got better. (see comments)

(Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe#1 (fb) - BTS) - Tuurgid was infected by the Brood and eventually transformed into a giant Brood.

(Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe#1 - BTS) - As part of a contest to determine who would face the Champion of the Universe in a fight, the Elder of the Universe known as the Promoter sent Hulk and Thor to retrieve the belt of Tuurgid as their first challenge.

(Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe#1) - Thor ran into the transformed Frost Giant Tuurgid while running from a swarm of Brood soldiers in a cave.

(Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe#2) - The giant Brood soldier Tuurgid's exoskeleton was rendered invulnerable by his belt's enchantment, leaving him invulnerable to Thor's hammer blows. Hulk came to Thor's aid while the Thunder God was stuck to a wall in goo and the two worked together to trap Tuurgid in a pit created by the two heroes. Hulk stole Tuurgid's belt while the giant Brood helplessly lay on his back. Hulk then freed Thor and escaping the cave with him and the belt while Tuurgid was left behind trapped in a pit.

Comments: Created by Peter David, Gary Frank & Cam Smith.

There were so many possible ways to bring back Tuurgid from his unfortunate case of decapitation. He could've just been returned to life after Ragnarok, by some kind of Asgardian magic, the soft reboot following Secret Wars or whatever else could bring people back from the dead in the Marvel Universe. There is also the possibility that Tuurgid is a pretty common Frost Giant name and it was just another character Thor vs. Hulk mini, but both of them being called the Unbeatable seems weird.

Tuurgid screwed up big time in Incredible Hulk II#422 by capturing Loki's son Vali, an old ally of Siingard.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Tuurgid has no known connection to:

Belt of Tuurgid the Unbeatable

(Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe#2) - The Belt of Tuurgid the Unbeatable was imbued with Frost Giant magic that made the wearer's armor indestructible. After Tuurgid was transformed into a Brood, the belt rendered his Brood form's natural exoskeleton indestructible.

(Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe#1) - As part of a contest to determine who would face the Champion of the Universe in a fight, the Elder of the Universe known as the Promoter sent Hulk and Thor to retrieve the belt of Tuurgid as their first challenge.

Even though Tuurgid had been transformed into a giant Brood, he was still wearing his magic belt.

(Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe#2) - Thor was unable to damage Tuurgid's Brood exoskeleton due to the belt's enchantment. Hulk eventually stole the belt from Tuurgid after the massive Brood got trapped laying on his back in a pit created by the combined efforts of Hulk and Thor, who was trapped in goo. With the belt in his hands, Hulk saved Thor, escaped the cave and was then teleported back to the Champion's ship by the Promoter. The Hulk was declared the winner of the first challenge and the Promoter took the belt.

(Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe#5) - The Promoter donned the items that had been delivered to her by Thor and Hulk as part of their challenges, including the Belt of Tuurgid the Unbeatable, the locket from the Dragon Lady, Moonstone's stone and the Tactigon.

(Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe#6) - The armor granted to the Promoter by the Moonstone was rendered indestructible by Tuurgid's belt. In addition the Promoter had gained healing powers from the dragon's locket and one of the most formidable weapons in the universe -- the Tactigon. With her new equipment she sought vengeance on those that had killed her parents and the rest of her race. She teleported the Champion, Hulk, Thor and herself to the death pits of Corot 7B where her parents had died to decide who the real Champion of the Universe was in a free-for-all among all four of them. The Promoter nearly had the three men beaten when Hulk transformed back into Bruce Banner and calmed her down. With a newfound respect for each other the foursome then took out all the criminals at the death pits to give the Promoter the vengeance she had sought and finish her parents' work. In the aftermath the Promoter decided to return the items Hulk and Thor had stolen for her, but only after one final battle between the four to determine who the strongest among them actually was.
