History:
(Spider-Verse III#5 (fb) - BTS) - In 1933, Madame Sturm was a scientist serving the Nazi Third Reich. Shortly after the death of the mobster Goblin, his enforcers Ox and Montana grabbed an ancient idol of the Spider-God from the scene of Osborn's death and attempted to sell it, eventually passing it over to Madame Sturm for Adolf Hitler himself.

(Spider-Verse III#5) - Hooking some of her machinery to the idol, Sturm read the power levels emanating from the Spider-God idol and opted to find away to have the idol serve the Third Reich. After learning from Earth-1610's Spider-Man (Miles Morales) that the Great Web of Life and Destiny was sick and could possibly be healed by the Spider-God idol from which the spider that gave him superhuman powers emerged, Earth-90214's Spider-Man opted to help Spider-Man-1610 track down the idol and they eventually interrogated Ox, who revealed that he had sold the idol to Sturm and that she had a hideout right over the bridge. Racing over towards the bridge, both Spider-Men witnessed a Nazi blimp flying over Manhattan to meet with Sturm. The Nazis soon emerged from the blimp and yelled for Sturm, who informed them she was in the greenhouse. The Nazis demanded Sturm turn over the idol but when they ventured into the greenhouse, they found Sturm inside a machine filled with bees that was being powered by the idol. Announcing her plans to combine the idol's totemic energies with her own scientific knowledge to become a god empowered by bees, her insect of choice, Sturm activated the machine but the Nazis, thinking Sturm mad, snatched the idol from the machine. The Nazis were quickly defeated by the arriving Spider-Men and the machine soon exploded, revealing a transformed Sturm, who proclaimed herself Madame Swarm.

Madame Swarm immediately sent her bees after the two heroes. Spider-Man-90214 attempted the hold the bees at bay with webbing but the bees easily shredded his webbing, prompting Spider-Man-1610 to lure Swarm outside the greenhouse, where she absorbed more bees and grew larger. Noticing that Madame Swarm was flying near the Nazi blimp full of hydrogen, Spider-Man-90214 asked if Spider-Man-1610 could project a massive venom blast. After Spider-Man-90214 confirmed that there was no one onboard the blimp, Spider-Man-1610 successfully fired a massive venom blast that blew up the blimp, effectively destroying Madame Swarm and her bees in the process.

Comments: Created by Christos Gage and Juan Ferreyra.

Despite being seemingly destroyed by the blimp explosion, Madame Swarm could possibly reform herself entirely out of bees much in the way that Earth-616's Swarm often does. I doubt we've seen the last of her...
