History:
(X Lives of Wolverine I#5 - BTS) - Aline Fischer and her family lived in Paris, France.
(X Lives of Wolverine I#5 - BTS) - When the German army invaded France in September 1914 in what would become known as the First World War the Fischer family retreated to their country estate. Sadly in the country side they found themselves trapped by German forces.
(X Lives of Wolverine I#5 - BTS) - Unbeknownst to Aline, the time traveling evil mutant Omega Red had set his sight on her. The mutant had been send through time by Russian Mikhail Rasputin to murder Charles Xavier's relatives. As such he planted false intelligence in a tank battalion and diverted their defensive position from the Red to the Fischer Estate.
(X Lives of Wolverine I#5 - BTS) - Soon, however, Wolverine appeared, who'd been send through time by Charles Xavier and Jean Grey to stop Omega Red. Wolverine, who at the time, was a member of the Devil's Brigade, a special unit of the Canadian military set out to save Aline. Together, Wolverine and the Devil's Brigade managed to slaughter the German forces within seconds of them firing upon the Fischer estate.
(X Lives of Wolverine I#4 - BTS) - In an effort to lessen their impact on the timeline, Charles Xavier and Jean Grey unleashed a mile-wide psionic blast to make those affected forget everything that had transpired. The psionic blast was made to feel as if this affected by it would feel like their rising from a nap they can't quite remember.

X Lives of Wolverine I#3 (February, 2022) depicted several battles throughout times of Wolverine versus Omega Red, one of them clearly depicting Wolverine fighting the German forces of World War I.
