History:
(Iron Man I#5 (fb) - BTS) - Krylla was born sometime in the 24th century of the alternate world known as Earth-68091, centuries after the Tony Stark of that reality had created the supercomputer Cerebrus. She was a member of the Resistance, which had formed to oppose the rule of the tyrannical supercomputer. The Resistance was unable to slow the continued growth of Cerebrus, which had expanded to the point that it dominated the entire world.

(Iron Man I#5) - Eventually, the Resistance used a Time-Probe to capture the Tony Stark of Earth-616 from the past, before he had built Cerebrus--they transported Stark to their era, where they planned to execute him, to retroactively prevent him from creating the supercomputer in his future. But Krylla blamed the society that had lost the will to function on their own and allowed a computer to take over every facet of their lives, so she opposed the killing of Stark.

But Cerebrus' located the Resistance and sent its mindless human slaves to attack, and thus prevented them from carrying out their plan. During the confusion of the struggle, Krylla led Stark to temporary safety in the subterranean caverns of the Resistance. She then took him to the ruins of a museum that housed an old suit of his model 4 Iron Man armor. Not realizing Stark himself was Iron Man, Krylla nevertheless hoped that as the creator of the armor, Stark would be able to utilize it as a weapon against Cerebrus. While Stark suited up in the armor, Krylla also found an explosive blast pellet in the museum.

The two were then located and attacked by Cerebrus, and even Iron Man's power was as nothing against the giant warrior construct into which Cerebrus manifested itself.  Cerebrus defeated Iron Man and prepared to blast him out of existence; but Iron Man removed his helmet and revealed himself as Tony Stark, temporarily leaving Cerebrus uncertain of how to act -- Krylla took advantage of this momentary weakness and hurled the blast pellet into Cerebrus' central processing unit. The resulting explosion caused a chain-reaction along the entire span of Cerebrus across the planet, destroying it.

But as Cerebrus "died," the world's power sources began to go with it -- Krylla urged Iron Man to take her back to the Time-Probe before it lost power as well, so she could return him to his own century. Krylla abruptly thanked Stark for what he had done for her and her people, then activated the Time-Probe, and Stark was returned back to his own era, a mere instant after he had been taken.

Comments: Created by Archie Goodwin and George Tuska.

Perhaps Krylla became one of the leaders of the new world order that would have formed following the destruction of Cerebrus. Maybe Cerebrus (like any good computer) had back-up versions of itself, and Krylla continues as part of the Resistance against it. Or maybe she just liked being a historian.

Resistance

They (none but Krylla identified) were an unspecified number of inhabitants of 24th century Earth-68091, a world that was dominated by the supercomputer Cerebrus.

Seeking to be free of Cerebrus' rule, these rebels used the Time-Probe to bring Tony Stark--the future creator of Cerberus--from the past and to their world; they planned to execute Stark and retroactively prevent him from ever building Cerebrus, despite Stark's warning them that they couldn't be certain what would happen if they tampered with time-paradoxes.

But before they could carry out the execution, they were attacked by Cerebrus' mindless human servants--during the battle, Stark managed to escape, then he and Krylla went on to destroy Cerebrus by themselves.

The men of the Resistance wore armored suits and helmets, and--despite living in a world of futuristic technology--they were armed with relatively primitive metal weapons, including spears and spiked maces (...perhaps Cerebrus had destroyed all handguns and more advanced weaponry centuries earlier?).

Time-Probe

A time-travel device of 24th century Earth-68091, it was used by members of the Resistance to transport the Tony Stark of modern era Earth-616 to their world.

While working in his laboratory, Stark suddenly found himself surrounded by radiant energy, and he was transported through time and space, then materialized inside the Time-Probe; Stark was captured by the Resistance, who hoped that by executing him, it would retroactively prevent him from ever building the supercomputer Cerebrus, which had enslaved their world.

But tremendous power was required to operate the Time-Probe, and because the expenditure of energy was so great, Cerebrus was able to detect its use, then sent its tracking coils to attack.

Krylla helped Stark escape, and the two went on to destroy Cerebrus; after the defeat of the supercomputer, Krylla used the remaining power of the Time-Probe to return Stark back to his laboratory, a mere instant after he had been taken.

(Note: As it only played a relatively minor role in the story, there really weren't many clear views of this device available.)
