Powers: The Great I is a cosmic data processor. It is able run to coordinate every aspect of life in Dynamo City, from train schedules to energy output. However, I is blind, deaf, and mute. While it regulates all activities, the policies and protocol are set by the bureaucratic government. This makes I the perfect bureaucrat: cold and efficient, untouched by human cares.

History: Unrevealed. It is unknown where I came from, or when it came into existence. I is known as the founder of Dynamo City. More likely, one or several beings discovered it and what it could do and drafted it into their service. Using its ability to coordinate a virtually limitless number of activites, energies, etc, they built the immense bureaucracy known as Dynamo City.

The mad Eternal of Titan, Thanos, sent the Silver Surfer to Dynamo City, where his energy was siphoned, and he was trapped. Learning of the existence of the Great I, the Silver Surfer, risked his life to gain an audience with it. It wasn't until he had pleaded his entire case that he realized that I was completely unaware of his existence.

The Silver Surfer later managed to escape Dynamo City, but the Great I presumably continues to keep the trains on time.
