Powers/Abilities: She was able to project light but she couldn't use her powers for a long time. It was lethal when she did.

History:
(Marvel Comics Presents#54/4 (fb) - BTS) - The family of Firefly was killed by the Cult of Kâli led by Krago. After that Firefly probably got her powers from a renegade Kâli Cult of Light.

(Marvel Comics Presents#54/4) - Firefly tried to destroy the Kâli Statue of Dark Powers, but Shroud attacked her. Firefly used her powers against Shroud who lost control over the power of darkness. After a short fight Firefly left before losing the upper hand against Shroud because she was burning out. She entered the office of Krago and tried to kill him but he used a paralyzing field against her. Firefly was powerless and was saved by Shroud who tried to talk to her. She attacked him again and ran away as she still thought that Shroud was one of the evil servants of Kâli.
    Firefly tried again to destroy the statue after it was moved into a warehouse. Shroud stopped her because the statue was rigged to kill her by Krago. Firefly hit the statue with a circle of light and the statue killed Krago who was standing in front of it. Firefly took the gun from Krago and used the light against Shroud again. She tried to shoot, but she couldn't hit him. Firefly used her powers too long and burned out. Shroud wasn't hit and felt sorry for Firefly who never understood that they could've joined their powers to destroy the Cult of Kâli.

Shroud heard rumors about a renegade Kâli Cult of Light and thought that Firefly got her powers from them. It was never cleared up if it was true.
    I barely remember this story, but the antipathy between between Firefly and the Cult of Kâli reminded me of the antagonism between the Shroud and Dansen Macabre, who was a worshipper of Shiva.
