History: Ekl' r comes from the bowels of a dimension where the residents feed off the despair and hopelessness of others. He came to Earth to destroy all comedy clubs and comedians to turn the planet into a humorless wasteland and then enslave the whole dimension.
(MCP#50/3) - Ekl' r entered the Improb comedy club dressed with a rain-coat and hat. He sat down and waited until the performance of Griffin Gogol began. After some jokes Ekl' r started to insult Griffin. Griffin thought it was just a heckler, but then Ekl' r stood up and took off his rain-coat to show his true face. Ekl' r attacked Carla Denti while the rest of the audience ran off. He shouted out his plan while Griffin turned into Captain Ultra. Captain Ultra rescued Carla from Ekl' r but the demon was able to tackle him to the ground. Captain Ultra then tried another tactic on the demon. He told Ekl' r a joke about demons. The demon began to laugh, and exploded as a reaction to such mirth.

Carla Denti
Carla Denti was a reviewer from the Post and joined the crowd of the Improb the day Griffin Gogol had his first performance. She was attacked by Ekl' r and saved by Captain Ultra. After the incident she ended her career as reviewer until she finished her book about Captain Ultra.
