Powers/Abilities: Barrachus is an enormous creature, several stories high, and as such, possesses incredible strength. He also appears to be capable of breathing underwater for long periods of time, possible decades.

History:
(X-Force and Cable ‘95) – While vacationing on the small South Seas island of Kali, several members of X-Force proceeded to use watercrafts off the shore. There, they disturbed the slumbering Barrachus, who upon waking began to rampage through Kali. Believing Barrachus to actually be the Impossible Man, who had been annoying them during their vacation, X-Force did not take him seriously until the real Impossible Man made his presence known. When Barrachus swallowed all of the members of X-Force except for Cable and Domino, Cable telepathically probed the creature for any fears it had.

Seeing it feared its mother, Cable then sent that information to the minds of the Impossible Kids. The Impossible Kids then combined their forms into that of Barrachus’ mother, and devoured him. They then spit up the X-Force members alive and well, and when they returned to their normal forms, all that was left of Barrachus was his skeleton. .

Not much information is given on Barrachus, other than that he, at some point in the past, rampaged across Kali at least once before. Personally, I’d like to think he is a Deviant mutate, much like how most of the old Kirby monsters have been ret-conned into.

To the best of my knowledge and google-searching powers, there is no actual South Seas island called Kali.
