History: (Kid Colt, Outlaw#109) - The Barracuda assaulted the town of Pecos Hill with his cannons, and sent men ashore to collect new crewmen. Kid Colt, on the run from the law, decided to stowaway on the Barracuda's ship to escape, but when the Barracuda found him, he ordered him to walk the plank.

When one of the Barracuda's men tried to force Kid Colt off the plank, Colt knocked him into the water instead, and when three came at him on the plank, he wobbled them off the plank as well. The Barracuda tried to drive Kid Colt off, but Colt flung himself beneath the plank and swung through a porthole into the lower deck. The Barracuda ordered the deck sealed off and began a search, but couldn't find him.

Kid Colt had actually flung himself back out of the ship, then climbed back up to the main deck. Colt climbed to the crow's nest where he called out to all of the crewmen who had been shanghaied by the Barracuda to turn against him. The Barracuda tried to shoot Colt down, but Kid Colt evaded his shots, then swung back down to attack the Barracuda. Inspired by him, the shanghaied crewmen turned on the Barracuda and his loyal men.

The Barracuda lit a cannon and turned it towards Kid Colt, but Colt shot the fuse off before it could fire, and the unbalanced cannon rolled straight at the Barracuda, who flung himself from the ship to avoid being crushed. With their captain having apparently drowned in the sea, his loyal men surrendered, and the shanghaied crewmen turned the captured ship over to the authorities.
