Real Name: Aquon

Identity/Class: Genetically engineered being (Infra-Worlder/Shark(?) hybrid)

Occupation: Servant of Captain Omen

Group Membership: Infra-Worlders

Affiliations: Captain Omen

Enemies: Hulk, rebellious Infra-Worlders

Known Relatives: None

Aliases: None

Base of Operations: The Infra-World, at the bottom of the ocean

Appearances: Incredible Hulk II#165 (July, 1973)

Powers/Abilities: Aquon had incredible class 100 strength, on par with the Hulk. He could also breathe both underwater and on the surface.

History: Aquon was created through the genetic engineering of Captain Omen as a secret weapon if his servants, the Infra-Worlders rebelled. (For information on all of that, see  Captain Omen's profile.)

Hulk was brought aboard the Infra-World, a giant submarine, populated by the Infra-Worlders. Captain Omen, whose goal it was to claim the entire ocean floor for himself, ruled them, but treated them horribly. They, along with the Hulk, had a rebellion, and as a result, Aquon was released to put them back in line. Hulk and Aquon fought, and Aquon held his own for a while really well. However, in the battle, the hull of the Infra-World was breached, and Aquon was sucked out into the ocean, while Hulk had the strength to hold on. After this, Captain Omen conceded to defeat and took the Infra-Worlders to the surface (where they all died from exposure to the change in level of pressure).

Comments: Created by Steve Engelhart and Herb Trimpe

I can't believe that Aquon was killed by something like that. I want to see him meet up with Hulk again as soon as Hulk's book gets good writers again.
The Hulk does have good writers, it just doesn't have...the Hulk! That's what I miss. The stories aren't bad.

This profile would not have been possible without the help from Jake at Leader's Lair. The image and some of the information was his. Thanks Jake!

Aquon is pictured and mentioned in Captain Omen profile in World War Hulk: The Gamma Files.
