wheelie-transformers-uk-faceHistory:
(Transformers UK#183 (fb) - BTS) - Wheelie used to live in Quintesson.

(Transformers UK#183 (fb) - BTS) - Rodimus Prime sent Wheelie back to Quintesson to spy.

(Transformers UK#183) - <Earth-Date 2008 A.D.> Wheelie arrived on his own spaceship to Quintesson and saved Wreck-Gar from a sea of Sharkticons.

(Transformers UK#184) - Wheelie and Wreck-Gar drifted near Quintesson while hiding from native spaceships, tired of it, Wheelie convinced Wreck-Gar to run and try to warn the Autobots. Once they fled, the Quintessons spotted them and fired at Wheelie s spaceship, destroying its communicator. Wheelie used his ship's emergency boosters to have a better chance at escaping, which quickly overheated.

(Transformers UK#185) - Wheelie and Wreck-Gar continued to escape the Quintessons while the ship kept overheating. Wreck-Gar informed Wheelie that he would take them to a small asteroid in the Delta Six Quadrant.

(Transformers UK#186) - Having escaped the Quintessons, Wheelie and Wreck-Gar abandoned the beyond-repair ship once they arrived to the asteroid. Informed by Wreck-Gar that they weren't alone, Wheelie joined Junkyard and another unidentified Junkion, just in time for the transmission of the contents of the Quintessons message canister.

(Transformers UK#187) - Wheelie watched as the asteroid's transmitter revealed the Quintessons plans of colonization to hundreds of metal worlds, ruining their reputation.

Comments: Wheelie from Transformers: The Movie was created by writer Ron Friedman (and unspecified visual designers);
Wheelie-88945 created by Simon Furman and Dan Reed.

    While Wheelie-88945 is not clearly pictured, he is very similar to his alternate reality counterpart from the Transformer movie comic (see clarifications), who was clearly depicted in the Transformers Universe#4 handbook. The two images of that Wheelie can be seen on either side of these comments.

    Wheelie's time in Quintesson, as mentioned in #183, is a reference to the storybook The Story of Wheelie, the Wild Boy of Quintesson, in which he earned he earned his reputation as a survivalist. While not part of the UK continuity, its events might have been mirrored by Wheelie-88945.

    Wheelie ALWAYS spoke in rhyme, "Greetings, Wreck-Gar, from the Autobots; let Wheelie tend your rust spots! " and  "I lived here once, a time gone by; Prime sent me back to watch, to spy!"

    Wheelie is 2/3 of Wreck-Gar's height, but I couldn't find any info on the latter, either. Transformers' stats are inconsistent, to say the least, across media, so I couldn't have taken any other version's height. The Transformers are made of an unspecified metal.
    Loki made this connection: Wreck-Gar is about the same height as Rodimus Prime, who was about the same height as the 30' tall Death's Head at that time. So, if Wheelie is 2/3 Wreck-Gar's height, that would put him at about 20' tall.
    I'm pretty sure that only applies to Wheelie-88945, because I checked the storybook and Wheelie seemed to be as tall as Rodimus Prime, but I think it's because Earl Norem painted everyone with about the same height.

    The color of Wheelie's eyes is inconsistent through his appearances, yellow in #183, orange in #184 and red in #185, I'm going with the last one because it had the best close-up.

    Movie Wheelie and the G1 toy have wheels on the back of their arms, but UK Wheelie's design is a little inconsistent, sometimes his arms are drawn with the areas where the wheels are supposed to be, sometimes not, and they're always one color (pointing this out because....why would his name be Wheelie if he doesn't have any wheels?).
