Powers/Abilities: The Wendigo curse transformed this unidentified man into a large muscular form covered with white fur and possessing fang-like teeth, clawed hands and feet, and a long powerful tail. As Wendigo he possesses extraordinary stamina and enhanced reflexes and speed.

History:

(Wolverine: Black, White & Blood I#1/1 - BTS) - an unidentified French Canadian man was transformed into the Wendigo by unrevealed means. As the Wendigo he devoured several people, leaving nothing but their bones.

(Wolverine: Black, White & Blood I#1/1 - (fb) - BTS) - When the Weapon X Project became aware of the Wendigo's presence in the Canadian wilderness they send their new Experiment X (Logan) to face it and test his abilities.

(Wolverine: Black, White & Blood I#1/1) - Wendigo and Logan fought a bloody battle. Logan however, gained the upper hand and defeated the monster. Severely bleeding, the man who'd become Wendigo somewhat regained consciousness and asked Logan in French what he'd done to him. Taken back by hearing a human voice, Logan began to attack his own gear until he was put down by Weapon X who then took both Logan and Wendigo back to their laboratory, curious to learn more of the Wendigo's secrets.

This Wendigo predates Paul Cartier as this story takes place when Logan was still part of Weapon X.

Although unrevealed it's likely Weapon X would've examined and experimented on Wendigo, probably resulting in his death.

This profile was completed 3/20/2019, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 20^th anniversary 's celebratory event.
