History:
(Generations: Hawkeye and Hawkeye#1 (fb) - BTS) - The Swordsman discovered Eden Vale to be a natural marksman and he began training her, later learning about her powers to summon others from across time and space. Wanting Eden to meet Hawkeye, his former student, he convinced her to bring the best marksmen from across time to a specially-prepared island to battle. Vale summoned archers and marksmen from the past and placed them on a remote Caribbean island. Archers included a man in yellow, Boomerang, Bullseye, Hawkeye (Clint Barton), Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Crossfire, and Taskmaster, all of them but Hawkeye from the future. She placed belts on each of them that would send them back to their original times if the belts were disrupted.

(Generations: Hawkeye and Hawkeye#1) - Eden Vale monitored events from a central base with computers, watching as the two Hawkeyes sent Boomerang, Taskmaster, and the yellow archer back to their own times. When Kate Bishop snuck up on her and fired an arrow, Crossfire attacked, causing the arrow to go awry and only graze Eden's neck. Bullseye savagely attacked the others and Eden had to be protected by the two Hawkeyes. When Eden realized that Swordsman was obsessed with Clint Barton, she was disgusted and sent him away. Eden returned everyone else home except for Kate and Clint. After giving Clint an apology, Eden gave Kate a device that would return her to the future, and then she departed, teleporting away.

(Hawkeye V#13 (fb) - BTS) - Eden went on to have a daughter, Lucy Vale, and she moved to Las Vegas. During the Hydra takeover, when several heroes, including Hawkeye (Barton) rebelled, Hydra lashed out at Vegas, killing many, including Eden's daughter, Lucy. When Eden began hunting Clint Barton, he went to Los Angeles to find Kate Bishop there.

(Hawkeye V#16 (fb) - BTS) - Eden kept a briefcase with a vial of Lucy's blood in it, but she hesitated to use it because she knew it wouldn't bring her daughter back personally. She began gathering blood that would be valuable to her, including that of Lady Bullseye, Boomerang, and Crossfire.

(Hawkeye V#14 (fb) - BTS) - Eden also gathered Eleanor Bishop's blood.

(Hawkeye V#14 (fb) - BTS) - In Los Angeles, Eden leased a warehouse under the name Ned Leave, an anagram of her name.

(Hawkeye V#13) - When Clint and Kate had pizza, Eden fired arrows at them from a nearby rooftop, and they saw a flash of her blue hair as they ran away. Eden attacked the two Hawkeyes directly, shocking them with her combat prowess. When Kate nearly fell, Eden, having collected some of Kate's blood in the fight, summoned her back to Eden's headquarters, and Kate woke up in restraints after having been knocked unconscious during the teleportation. Eden explained how Lucy had died, and she wanted Kate's help in killing Clint. Eden promised Kate that if she helped her kill Clint, she'd help bring Kate's mother, Eleanor Bishop, back to life.

(Hawkeye V#14 (fb) - BTS) - Eden brought Eleanor from the past into the present, allowing Kate a few minutes with her.

(Hawkeye V#14) - As Kate embraced Eleanor, Eden abruptly sent Eleanor back into the past. Eden apologized to Kate for causing her emotional pain, then demanded again that Kate help her if she wanted to see Eleanor again. Kate refused, stating that Clint was her family also and that she couldn't hurt him. Just then, Clint attacked, bringing with him the villainous Madame Masque, who happened to be occupying the body of a clone of Kate Bishop. Eden was briefly knocked out, but as she woke up, Madame Masque proposed an alliance between the two of them.

(Hawkeye V#15 (fb) ) - As Eden watched, Madame Masque called in her henchmen, who swiftly started to battle the two Hawkeyes. To aid in the battle, Eden used her powers to summon Crossfire, Lady Bullseye, Swordsman, and Boomerang from other time periods, then the two Hawkeyes escaped, dressing two of the henchmen in their costumes to cover the escape. Eden sent her four summoned criminals after the Hawkeyes, and when Crossfire argued with her, she sent him back to his own time, leading the others to believe that she had killed him.

(Hawkeye V#15) - Eden went with Madame Masque and her henchmen to confront the Hawkeyes at the office of Kate Bishop.

(Hawkeye V#16) - The two Hawkeyes battled and defeated many of Madame Masque's men as well as Lady Bullseye, Boomerang, and Swordsman before Kate helped Eden realize that she was putting civilians, including children, in danger. Eden was beginning to have second thoughts before Madame Masque stated that she could help Eden get Lucy back. As Clint apologized to Eden, Kate seized her briefcase, pulling it away, and Eden told her that Lucy's blood was inside. After Eden willingly sent the three summoned mercenaries back to their time periods, Kate gave her Lucy's vial, and Eden used it to call her daughter from the past. Eden called her daughter "chicken", then hugged Lucy tight, as Lucy worried about the wounded civilians nearby. Kate and Clint let Eden hold her daughter and grieve.
