History:
(Wonder Man II#29 (fb) - BTS) - A special effects professional designed a revolutionary technology that would manipulate emotions and create virtual reality movies for people, and he surmised that it would revolutionize the industry and make him very rich. Ignoring warnings from his lawyers, who worried that the movies would result in lawsuits, the man made plans to use his technology in an epic dinosaur movie.

(Wonder Man II#2 (fb) - BTS) - The dinosaur movie began production, with a female investor with criminal ties backing it.

(Wonder Man II#2 - BTS) - For personal reasons related to wanting to control the female investor, the Enchantress manipulated Wonder Man into destroying the dinosaur robots.

(Wonder Man II#29 (fb) - BTS) - The technician got the word about the movie props' destruction by Wonder Man. He began planning to use his technology to make himself a super-villain, and he planned his revenge on Wonder Man. In time, he heard about portions of his tech being used in virtual reality, and he seemed to go mad with a desire for revenge. He made a costume and called himself Psyk-Out, and he prepared detailed traps and illusions, some using robots, at the old abandoned Global Studios' Hollywood Theme Park.

(Wonder Man II#28) - Psyk-Out attacked Wonder Man during a performance in Hamlet, making the witches seemingly come to life. After he briefly battled both Wonder Man and Spider-Man, Psyk-Out fled. He approached a group of arms dealers, lying to them about Wonder Man being after them, and they agreed to pay Psyk-Out to fight Wonder Man. Spider-Man attacked Psyk-Out, who managed to quickly escape, then Spider-Man and Wonder Man pursued Psyk-Out to the abandoned Global Studios' Hollywood Theme Park where Psyk-Out had laid out many traps and illusions.

(Wonder Man II#29) - Spider-Man and Wonder Man faced the many threats in the amusement park until Wonder Man managed to overload Psyk-Out's powers by transforming himself into pure energy and overloading the electro-magnetic energy around him, restoring reality. He ripped off Psyk-Out's mask and tied him up, then defeated the arms dealers who attacked.
