(X of Swords: Destruction - BTS) - Following the tournament of swords in Otherworld instigated by Omniversal Majestrix Saturnyne a deal had been made, resulting in the return of Arakko to Earth along with the millions of Arakii mutants living there, amongst them Pollux and Castor.

(Cable IV#10 (fb) - BTS) - Now in a place unknown to them, Pollux and Castor set out to see what the world had to offer. The duo traveled to England where their aggressive nature lead them to stir problems in a London bar called Burton's Tavern. The duo beat several of the bar's patrons and refused others to leave while they enjoyed gin and Scotch eggs.

(Cable IV#10) - Soon however, Cyclops and young Cable arrived in London to deal with the Arakkii mutants, feeling sympathetic for the mutants who'd endured war for centuries they offered to escort them back home. Pollux and Castor refused after which the psionic Pollux manifested psychic shuriken to fight Cable with. While Castor charged at Cyclops, Pollux kept her attention on Cable. In the end Cable shot her through the leg after which Pollux commented she liked his dirty fighting style and fell unconscious. Pollux and Castor where turned over to the local authorities.

Comments: Created by Gerry Duggan and Phil Noto.

Pollux and Castor are named after the Greek Dioscuri, Sons of Zeus, twin deities who succored shipwrecked sailors and received sacrifices for favorable winds. As such it seems likely the Arakkii mutants are twins as well.

Although unrevealed it seems likely that Pollux and Castor joined their kin when mutantdom terraformed Mars and rechristened it Arakko.
