History: (Fantastic Four Unlimited I#1 (fb) - BTS) - The Panther Posse were composed of the Black Panther's elite troopers from the Wakandan army. The Black Panther later recruited the Panther Posse and went into seclusion to work on a secret project (Sonic Disruption Cannon) when Klaw and his agents invaded Wakanda. When they returned from seclusion, the Panther Posse and the Black Panther were ambushed by Klaw's agents but they escaped into the high-tech catacombs that made up the Wakandan defense system.

(Fantastic Four Unlimited I#1) - After Klaw's agents apprehended the Fantastic Four as they were arriving to visit Wakanda, Black Panther led the Panther Posse to attack Klaw's agents and free the captured members of the Fantastic Four. Teaming with the Fantastic Four, the Panther Posse battled Klaw's agents but their attacks seemed to have no effect on the agents. Deducing that the agents' armor was composed of solid sound, Mister Fantastic asked for a sound-absorbing Vibranium knife from one of the Panther Posse members and used it to disperse the armor of one of the agents, proving his theory correct. Realizing how effective their Vibranium weapons could be against Klaw's agents, the Panther Posse began dispersing not the agents' armor but their solid sound vehicles as well. The Panther Posse then followed Black Panther and the Fantastic Four into Wakanda's Woods of Solitude, guarding the perimeter as the heroes ventured further into the Woods while discussing Klaw's invasion. Later, while the Fantastic Four and the Black Panther defeated Klaw, the Panther Posse rounded up all of Klaw's mercenary agents and regrouped with the Panther and the Fantastic Four. The Posse then apprehended Klaw as well and placed him in a Wakanda Department of Corrections transport vehicle.

(Avengers West Coast I#93 (fb) - BTS) - The United Nations chartered a plane to transport Klaw from his imprisonment in Wakanda and the Panther Posse crewed the plane.

(Avengers West Coast I#93) - While transporting Klaw out of Wakanda, the Panther Posse were attacked by Doctor Demonicus' Pacific Overlords, who disabled and boarded their plane. Easily taking down the Panther Posse, the Pacific Overlords remarked on how they had thought the plane was chartered by the United Nations and Klaw replied that while the plane was chartered by the U.N., it was crewed by the Panther Posse.

Some online sources lump the Panther Posse in with the appearances of the general Wakandan army but Fantastic Four Unlimited I#1 established that the Panther Posse were the Black Panther's elite troopers, not just regular soldiers.
