History:
(Thing II#5 (fb) - BTS) - Arlo North developed world-fame as an architect with a focus on designing immersive art structures, and habitats that promoted creative atmospheres.

(Thing II#2 (fb) - BTS) - Arlo began dating Alicia Masters, a famous blind sculptress who had dated the Thing for years before. Arlo grew accustomed to people thinking the Thing was still Alicia's boyfriend.

(Thing II#1) - Arlo made Alicia a pancake breakfast.

(Thing II#2) - The police summoned Alicia and Arlo to the home of Ms. Irma Roberts, where the Thing and other party guests had gone missing. When Alicia saw a poor replica of one of her sculptures there, she called her attorney to investigate, and assured the police that the Thing could take care of himself.

(Thing II#3 (fb) - BTS) - Arlo watched as Matt Murdock arrived to confront the owner of the stolen sculpture, and soon many more knock-off sculptures were revealed. Murdock confronted the owner, Mr. Bartleby.

(Thing II#3) - Arlo saw Mr. Bartleby deny remembering who ordered the commission on the statues before Alicia started "accidentally" bumping into statues, breaking them. Finally, Bartleby revealed that Mr. A. R. Cadesky (Arcade) had ordered them. Later, at Alicia's home, Arlo watched as Daredevil appeared in the window wanting to talk to Alicia.

(Thing II#5) - Arlo got out of the shower as Alicia hung up the phone, then he took a call himself, shocked that the Thing wanted to hire him to complete the Grimm Youth Center on Yancy Street. Days later, Arlo brought his designs to show Thing as they assembled the construction crew. Arlo tried telling Thing about his relationship with Alicia, but he was intimidated when Thing tore an entire building down.

(Amazing Spider-Man I#590) - The Fantastic Four left Franklin and Valeria Richards in the care of Alicia and Arlo while they went off on a mission.

(Thing II#6) - Arlo continued working on the youth center, even as Damage Control (including Kathleen O'Meara and Hercules) worked on repairs in the area. He finally told Thing about his relationship with Alicia. Weeks later, the youth center was finished and Arlo interacted with Hiram Sheckerberg. On his way out with Alicia, Arlo thanked Thing for being cool about their new relationship, and Thing mildly squeezed Arlo's hand to show his strength.

(Thing II#7) - Arlo gave Alicia a small bust of the Venus de Milo for her birthday, and she was thrilled. Thing arrived to take Alicia out for her birthday, bringing Lockjaw, who bit through Arlo's pants during their brief interaction.

(Thing II#8 (fb) - BTS) - Arlo received a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work on the Sacred Temples of Shembala in Tibet, and he jumped at the chance.

(Thing II#8) - As Arlo packed and rushed out the door, he wished Alicia well and told her to follow her heart when it came to the Thing.

Well, Alicia is now married to Thing, and Arlo has drifted into obscurity.
