History:

(Two-Gun Kid#62/1 (fb) - BTS) - Undereducated violent bully Moose Morgan moved with his teen-aged son Cal to a ranch near Tombstone, Texas. He wanted his son to help with chores at home and kept Cal from school. Believing if Cal had no education, then no other child should get an education, Moose and Cal then brutishly bullied other pupils from attending school. This upset schoolteacher Nancy Carter greatly and she called her beau Matt Hawk (secretly Two-Gun Kid).

(Two-Gun Kid#62/1) - The sheriff told Hawk and Carter that the townsfolk were too scared to register a complaint against Moose, so the law could do nothing. Hawk and Carter stopped Cal bullying and hitting a smaller boy, at which point Moose rode up and challenged Hawk. Moose knocked Hawk about and Hawk held back, not wanting to reveal his secret identity. Moose stopped at Carter's terrified pleas. That night, a town meeting was held about what to do with Moose, but Moose came up and challenged them all, demanding the schoolhouse stay empty. The townsfolk meekly went away but Hawk had secretly changed into his costumed identity of gunslinger Two-Gun Kid and shot away Moose's rifle. A fierce brawl between the two followed with Moose finally knocked unconscious. Two-Gun Kid grabbed Cal and soundly spanked him while the townsfolk put Moose on his mule. The gunslinger then ordered that Cal support and respect his father more as he would need it from then on. No more trouble was had from the two Morgans.

CLARIFICATIONS :
Moose Morgan has no known connections to:

Cal Morgan

Ginger-haired Cal was Moose Morgan's teen-aged son and moved with his father to a place near Tombstone, Texas. He followed his father's bullying ways, picking on smaller children to enforce his will and pushed an end to school education. Moose wanted Cal to stay at home to do chores and felt that no other children should have the opportunity of education. The Morgans bullied the pupils and townsfolk to leave the schoolhouse empty but Two-Gun Kid's equally violent intervention ended Moose's bullying ways. After Two-Gun Kid knocked out Moose in a fierce brawl, the gunslinger grabbed Cal, put Cal over his knee and spanked his bottom to discipline him. Cal was then ordered to pay his father more respect and support him. Cal then started attending school and was very respectful to schoolteacher Nancy Carter.
