History:
(Jean Grey I#4 (fb) ) - Just after Thor turned 15 years old, he and his
brother Loki were determined to prove to their father, Odin, that they
were warriors, so they entered the lair of the fabled Lavadon, a giant
volcanic monster, determined to tame the beast and ride it back to
their father. The Lavadon set both boys on fire and they went running
from its cave, leaving it behind.
(Jean Grey I#4 - BTS) - In present day, Thor told Jean Grey the story of the Lavadon.
