Powers/Abilities: As a Badoon, Kodor is a reptilian-humanoid biped with three fingers (plus an opposing thumb) and two toes, each ending in talons.

His fingers were not webbed like most of the Badoon.

He also had a mouth full of sharp teeth, many more than are typical for the Badoon.

Kodor is significantly more muscular than a typical Badoon, with more human proportions (see comments). He was superhumanly strong, much more so than typical Badoon. Although he was no match for She-Hulk's strength, he threw the 700 lb. She-Hulk perhaps 50-100' into the air with enough speed to catch a flying craft that had already passed directly over them. Perhaps he could lift 5-10 tons.

His scaled skin was durable, only being briefly pained by being shot by a rifle from several feet away; stunned by a blast that would slay a Skrull; and he withstood several powerful physical blows from She-Hulk.

He flew an interstellar craft that presumably had warp speed capacity (or he used another craft to travel within vicinity of Earth) and advanced tracking technology.

He carried at least two different energy blasters, which minimally affected the super-durable She-Hulk.

He also utilized an energy tether/lasso to restrain a target and a molecular stimulator able to briefly revive the recently deceased.

Although not bloodthirsty, he was willing to slay an innocent if it would facilitate his bringing in a target.

Height: Unrevealed (approximately 6'6" to 6'10"; some images made him appear to be slightly taller than the 6'8" She-Hulk, some made him appear to be slightly shorter)kodor-badoon-face-closeup
Weight: Unrevealed (approximately 350 lbs. )
Eyes: Solid orange to red
Hair: None
Skin: Green (scaled)
Other distinguishing features: Like most Badoon males, his sternebrae are very prominent and superficial, bulging out beneath the skin in his chest. He has pointed ears.

History:

(She-Hulk II#25 (fb) - BTS) - Badoon bounty hunter Kodor was hired by unidentified parties to bring in the Froma Cazon -- alleged heir to the Tangers, the premiere cartel on the planet Chize -- who had apparently secretly arranged the the deaths of dozens of people because they didn't support him.

(She-Hulk II#25 (fb) - BTS) - Kodor followed Cazon to Earth...

(She-Hulk II#26 (fb) - BTS) - ...leaving his ship floating in the sky perhaps 50-200' above the ground and then either beaming or just dropping down...

(She-Hulk II#25 (fb) - BTS) - ...to arrive in Allentown National Park...

(She-Hulk II#25) - ...where he startled campers Larry and Tanya (he made some unintelligible sound initially, perhaps indicating his translator took some time to calibrate, perhaps having to hear enough of their dialog). Larry fired a rifle blast into Kodor's chest and told the "freak" to get away from his his wife; only pained by the blast, Kodor snatched the rifle from Larry's hands and told him not to do that again.

Considering that Larry had been defending his female, Kodor noted that his females lived on a different planet so they did not kill each other, and he added that any male that could tolerate his female, much less defend her, was worth of his respect. Nonetheless, Kodor advised Larry that if he shot him again, he would kill on general principle. After Larry acknowledged this, Kodor told them that he was taking their food, after which Larry and Tanya started packing up to depart. kodor-badoon-shehulk

Kodor subsequently located Cazon and snared him with an energy lasso around his throat. Cazon demanded the Badoon release him, but Kodor advised Cazon that he represented too great of a reward.

Jazinda, a Skrull working as bounty hunting partner to She-Hulk on Earth, who had encountered Cazon and was sympathetic to the story he related, told Kodor to release Cazon. As Jazinda was in human form, Kodor told the seeming terran to be on her way as this was not her business. When she leveled a weapon at him, he realized it was not a terran weapon just before she blasted him.

Jazinda then urged Cazon to flee swiftly, as the Badoon would only be stunned. Indeed recovering quickly, Kodor assaulted Jazinda, but She-Hulk came to her friend's aid and punched back Kodor while instructing Jazinda to flee.

(She-Hulk II#25 - BTS) - Cazon subsequently slew the camper Tanya, fatally blasted Jazinda with her own weapon (see comments), and fled, taking Larry hoskodor-badoon-full-distanttage.

(She-Hulk II#26) - Punched through the forest by She-Hulk, Kodor encountered a black bear and threw it into She-Hulk, who caught it and gently released it. Kodor then nailed She-Hulk with his blaster weapon, after which he recognized her as being one of the Magistrati. When she noted that she had quit, he asked her if she had quit her wisdom as well, as he was a licensed bounty hunter, lawfully doing his job.

Countering that she was doing her job, she punched him back. After she clarified at his request that she was protecting her friend, Kodor pointed out her failing, as Jazinda was dead. Kodor continued to insult She-Hulk, noting that if her protecting Cazon was the best judgment she could provide, her leaving the Magistrati may have been the single wisest decision she had ever made.

Kodor subsequently used a molecular stimulator to energize Tanya's body and brain back into activity in hopes of learning about Cazon's resources. When Tanya panicked upon learning the temporary nature of her revival, Kodor prepared to reverse the process, but She-Hulk stopped him. When Jazinda subsequently revived, Kodor confirmed that neither he nor his molecular stimulator had had anything to do with that.

When Cazon, having psionically levitated to Kodor's ship and strapped Larry to its front, flew over, Kodor called him a "stinking little son of a whore" and prepared to shoot him down. Although Kodor was content with sacrificing Larry, after She-Hulk instructed him to throw her to the ship or she would shove his weapon up his back door, he agreed that she made a compelling argument and complied.

After She-Hulk incapacitated the ship, causing it to crash in the shallow waters of the lake while freeing Larry and guiding him to safely land in deeper waters, Cazon accepted being taken in by Kodor as long as he spared him his stating of his litany of offenses.

At that point, Tanya, grabbed Kodor's weapon and threatened to kill Cazon for killing her. She disregarded Kodor's instruction that he needed Cazon alive.

Not wanting murder to be the last thing Tanya did, She-Hulk stopped her, and Tanya subsequently discorporated.

After Kodor noted that She-Hulk should have let Tanya kill Cazon, Jazinda shoved her hand through Cazon's chest, killing him and then noting that she was not a hero like She-Hulk was.kodor-badoon-ohotmu

Comments: Created by Peter David, Shawn Moll, and Victor Olazaba.

Kodor appeared to be significantly different than the average Badoon, both in terms of appearance and physical strength. It makes me wonder if he might be augmented or perhaps a hybrid with some other race.

Kodor exclaimed "Seven Suns" when Tanya would not stop screaming upon learning she had only been temporarily revived...

Kodor much more humanoid (and certainly much more massive) than most of the other Badoon we've seen.

Badoon are strong, but not that strong. I doubt Kodor could throw the 700 lb. She-Hulk farther than the 600' she can vertically jump...especially to catch a shp that had already flown overhead and was flying away from them at considerable speed.
Maybe Cazon was having trouble flying the Badoon ship initially as he was inexperienced with the technology, and he was flying at very low speed and height as a result.

I wish Larry and Tanya had been given last names...they have enough history, behavior, and significance to have their own profiles, and they don't fit neatly as sub-profiles under Cazon or Kodor.

blaster(s)

kodor-badoon-blasterkodor-badoon-face-blaster.
.
Kodor carried apparently at least two blasters, one of which was a hand-held pistol and one of which was more like a semi-automic "Uzi" type configuration.

While the blast may have been highly damaging or even deadly to people, it barely fazed the super-durable She-Hulk.

energy tether/lasso

kodor-badoon-lasso.
Kodor used some sort of energy lasso/tether, which extended from some sort of hand held baton.

(She-Hulk II#25) - Kodor  located Cazon and snared him with an energy lasso around his throat.

Cazon demanded the Badoon release him, but Kodor advised Cazon that he represented too great of a reward.

Jazinda subsequently blasted Kodor, briefly stunning him but also allowing Cazon to get free from the tether.

molecular stimulator

kodor-badoon-molecularstimulatorkodor-badoon-molecularstimulator-using      The molecular stimulator could energize the body and brain of the recently deceased, restoring them briefly to mobile, thinking, speaking beings.

After an unspecified time period, perhaps several minutes, the body of a being revived by the molecular stimulator would completely discorporate.

(She-Hulk II#26) -  Kodor subsequently used a molecular stimulator to energize Tanya -- a camper slain by his target, Cazon -- back into activity in hopes of learning about Cazon's resources.

When Tanya panicked upon learning the temporary nature of her revival, Kodor prepared to reverse the process, but She-Hulk stopped him. When Jazinda subsequently revived after having been slain by Cazon as well (secretly via the Sy-Torak gem), Kodor confirmed that neither he nor his molecular stimulator had had anything to do with that.

After Kodor captured Cazon, Tanya grabbed Kodor's weapon and threatened to kill Cazon for killing her. She disregarded Kodor's instruction that he needed Cazon alive.

Not wanting murder to be the last thing Tanya did, She-Hulk sympathetically stopped her from killing Cazon, and Tanya subsequently discorporated.

(She-Hulk II#25 (fb) - BTS) - ...to arrive in Allentown National Park...

(She-Hulk II#26) - Spotting Kodor's ship floating above, Cazon psionically levitated himself and his hostage, the camper Larry, up to it.

(She-Hulk II#26 (fb) - BTS) - Cazon strapped Larry to its front of Kodor's ship, using him as a shield to discourage attacks on the ship).

(She-Hulk II#26) -  When Cazon flew over, Kodor vowed that Cazon would not get away with his ship and prepared to shoot him down.

She-Hulk instead coerced Kodor to throw her to the ship.

As She-Hulk scaled the ship to try to reach Larry, Cazon began spinning the ship, trying to shake her off.

When she held on, he then piloted the ship up toward space. kodor-badoon-ship-larry

Knowing that would be fatal to Larry and having lost her grip and re-grasped the ship closer to the rocket engines, She-Hulk swung her feet into the engine's exhaust and destroyed it, at great pain to herself (and burning off her pants).

The engine then sputtered and died, after which
She-Hulk freed Larry and guided him to safely land in deeper waters, while the ship crashed in the shallow waters of the lake.

     Cazon then surrendered.

Note: As Kodor had left the ship floating in the sky, he presumably had the means to remotely control it to retrieve him, or he could fly a short distance, presumably via technology.
