History: (Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends cartoon episode, "A Fire-Star is Born" (fb)) - Exploring the jungle, the man who would become the Juggernaut found the Temple of Cyttorak and a massive gem inside. Touching it, he was transformed into the Juggernaut and he vowed to use his powers to destroy his stepbrother, Charles Xavier.

(Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends cartoon episode, "A Fire-Star is Born" (fb) -BTS)) - The Juggernaut encountered the X-Men many times with Cyclops remembering him in particular.

(Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends cartoon episode, "A Fire-Star is Born") - The Juggernaut attacked a tower that the superhero Spider-Man was resting on, sending it crashing into the street. Announcing his name and desire to crush the X-Men, the Juggernaut swung at Spider-Man, who tried to web the rampaging figure up. The Juggernaut easily tore the webbing aside and tore the wall the hero had leaped to apart. When Spider-Man swung to a construction site across the street, the Juggernaut jumped off the building and followed him. Spider-Man launched a girder with a giant web slingshot, the Juggernaut caught and crumbled it into a ball. Following Spider-Man further into the site, Juggernaut recounted his origin and expressed his desire to harm the X-Men once again. Still chasing Spider-Man, Juggernaut was quickly enveloped in quick drying cement but he escaped using his powers. When Spider-Man leapt away again, the Juggernaut tore the building he was standing on down, burying the hero in rubble. The Juggernaut then continued on his way to the X-Mansion.

Upon arriving, the Juggernaut broke into the X-Mansion just as Firestar, who was there with her teammate Iceman for an X-Men class reunion, was recounting her background and origin. Cyclops blasted the Juggernaut with his optic beams, sending him out of the house and through a tree, the wall and a car. Juggernaut easily tore the car apart and rushed back into the fight. Storm blasted him with lightning but it did nothing to slow him down. Iceman created a massive ice wall while Cyclops blasted a giant trench before it. The Juggernaut easily broke through the ice but promptly fell into the trench. Climbing back out, Juggernaut was attacked by Wolverine, who slashed at his helmet, but the Juggernaut easily picked him up and flung him away.

Next advancing on Professor X (his stepbrother Charles Xavier), the Juggernaut was briefly stopped by a circle of fire created by Firestar. He brushed past the flame and was about to crush Professor X when the newly-arrived Spider-Man webbed Xavier up and yanked him out of his wheelchair seconds before the Juggernaut crushed it. As the X-Men and Spider-Man retreated to the mansion's roof, the Juggernaut started smashing the wall of the mansion. Iceman raced down and enveloped the Juggernaut in a thick cocoon of ice, leaving his head free. Spider-Man then leapt down and tore Juggernaut's helmet off before the Juggernaut broke out of the ice. Shaking the ice off, the Juggernaut again confronted Xavier, dismissing the need for his helmet. Without his helmet, however, he was vulnerable to Professor X's mental power. Professor X used his ability to render the Juggernaut unconscious, leaving him out cold on the mansion's lawn.

Comments: Created by Christy Marx and Marvel Productions, Ltd. (see Appearances list for list of artists involved).

Why does the Juggernaut target Spider-Man first? No idea. Guess he wanted a warm-up fight?

Presumably he was taken to jail after being knocked out.

William H. Marshall was the credited voice actor for Juggernaut, with Bob Holt doing the grunts.

Juggernaut's physical stats are approximated from his Earth-616 counterpart.

As for the real name, Juggernaut is never referred to as Cain Marko but he is clearly Xavier's stepbrother.
