History:
(Ghost Rider VII#5 (fb) - BTS) - The Texan Jones was a ruthless human trafficker, who loved money. Over the years he was with many poor Mexican women, some of whom got pregnant. He sold the women's babies to all sorts of people. Among those babies was Alejandra, who ended up in possession of cult leader Adam.

Jones allegedly got into an argument with a cartel boss in Cancun at some point, but he didn't get his tongue ripped out during this as some people believed.

At some point he cut of his bookkeeper's left hand for some kind of mistake. Despite that the man stayed loyal to him.

Jones and his crew cleared out every farm and house in a one hundred mile radius in an area of Mexico near the Texan border, taking all the women and men to sell into slavery in the United States. He sometimes didn't talk for months.

(Ghost Rider VII#5) - Standing silently on a wall Jones oversaw the arrival of another truck filled with abducted young Mexicans. When Ghost Rider (Alejandra) attacked his fort Jones opened fire on her with a machine gun while all his men quivered in fear. Jones took off in the recently arrived truck with the young abductees still on board while his men surrendered to Ghost Rider. Jones jumped out of the truck before letting it drive off of a cliff, forcing Ghost Rider to save the children so he could escape. Jones climbed up a mountain, but when he arrived on the top Ghost Rider was already waiting for him there. Jones decided not to run anymore and when Ghost Rider heard his voice for the first time Zarathos revealed to her that Jones was her father. She transformed back to human form and confronted her father, who couldn't remember her or her mother because he had impregnated so many poor Mexican women over the years. Alejandra asked him what had happened to her half-siblings and Jones revealed that he just sold the babies to a variety of people just like he apparently sold Alejandra because selling people was his job. Turning back into Ghost Rider she purged Jones of his sins leaving him behind as a hunched over husk in the desert.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Jones should not be confused with:

unidentified bookkeeper

(Ghost Rider VII#5 (fb) - BTS) - At some point the bookkeeper got his left hand cut off by Jones for some kind of mistake. Despite that the bookkeeper stayed loyal to Jones.

(Ghost Rider VII#5) - The bookkeeper oversaw the arrival of the newest truck filled with men and women from Mexico. He urged Jones' men to hurry tallying up the exact number of men and women so they could get them north across the border the next day. The bookkeeper wasn't thrilled to hear that Otilio and Isdel had gone missing while going after a girl that ran off. He was sure Jones wouldn't be happy either. He revealed to another trafficker, who had only been working for Jones for a few months, that Jones had his ways of communicating when he was displeased by showing him his missing left hand. The bookkeeper then urged Jones' men to tally up the men and women before Jones got angry.

When Ghost Rider (Alejandra) attacked the fort everyone but Jones himself dropped their weapons and surrendered. The bookkeeper told her that they were all sorry. Ghost Rider still punished them by purging their sins, presumably leaving them behind as drooling husks.

Isdel & Otilio

(Ghost Rider VII#5 (fb) - BTS) - Armed with machine pistols Isdel and Otilio went after a girl, who ran off in the Mexican desert.

(Ghost Rider VII#5) - They caught up to her when she stumbled and fell to the ground. One of them told her to return with them, but she tossed a rock at one of them, hitting him in the head. When the man threatened to kill her the other one told him that Jones wouldn't be happy if they killed a girl worth a couple of hundred dollars. The guy, who got hit in the head, was fine with that and offered to just take a pay cut to get revenge on the girl. At that moment Ghost Rider (Alejandra) arrived to save the girl. Isdel and Otilio opened fire on her, but she quickly took them down and purged all sins from their bodies, leaving them presumably behind as drooling husks.
