History:
(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#30 (fb) - BTS) - Bogart Jeffries was assigned the task to release Silver Sable from prison.

Sable had been accused of murder, conspiracy and fraud and was held in prison.
When the Foreigner did some favors for the CIA, the agency let the charges against Sable be dropped.
Jeffries studied her file and learned that Silver Sable had enemies in high places, even in the agency.

(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#30) - When Jeffries met Sable in prison, she initially refused the deal because she thought that the CIA wanted her to use the Wild Pack and herself for some murder missions. Jeffries assured her that she was free without any conditions, but strongly suggested her to stay out of the USA. Silver accepted.
Shortly after Silver Sable retired from active duty.

(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#34) - Jeffries went to Castle Sable in Symkaria to hire Silver Sable. The CIA needed to find some extremely powerful weapons that had been stolen. Silver offered the Wild Pack as solution but the CIA wanted also her active participation. A bonus payment would have been the clearance of Sable's status with the U.S. Government. Sable firmly stated that she had retired.
Nonetheless, Ernst Sablinova, who had become the new tactical leader, accepted the assignment to find the experimental weapons.

(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#35) - Eventually Silver Sable flew in to help the Wild Pack on the mission.
The Pack destroyed the experimental weapons but avoided killing the researchers, obeying Silver's orders.
Later, Bogart Jeffries complained, because the CIA wanted the prototype weapons, not the traitorous researchers. But Sable threatened to expose the operation to the media, so Jeffries agreed to pay the entire sum and also to clear Silver Sable's criminal record.

Comments: Created by Gregory Wright, Scott Eaton & Jim Amash.

Sable would have remained in prison, if uncle Morty had not asked the Foreigner to fix things with the CIA. He did something for them that Sable refused to do for moral reasons. Later the Foreigner asked Silver Sable to pay her debt, fulfilling a contract for him.
It is unrevealed if Jeffries knew about Rosten and Sander's activities to frame Silver Sable for evasion.
