History: (Thor I#304) - Dr. Jeffries met with Dr. Donald Blake, who wanted to come work at the clinic. Dr. Jeffries was suspicious of Blake because he had lost his private practice and now wanted to start over, but because of Blake's reputation he decided to give him a chance.

(Thor I#305) - Dr. Jeffries introduced Blake to his new colleagues Theresa Cruz, Ramon Hernandez and Dexter Quentin, and went over the clinic's regulations with him, then showed him to his office.

(Thor I#307) - As Dr. Blake was treating shock victims, Dr. Jeffries brought in Milton Meilicki, a clinical psychologist from Bellevue, but he was unable to bring the patients out of shock.

(Thor I#309) - After one of Dr. Blake's patients had died, Dr. Jeffries introduced Blake to Lt. Nathaniel Byrd, who told them that the man in question had been murdered.

(Thor I#311) - Dr. Jeffries turned over to Blake Timmy Sayers, a teenager accidentally shot by the police. When people in Sayers' neighborhood found out what had happened, they stormed the clinic, demanding justice. Blake abandoned the operation to quell the riot as Thor, and Dr. Jeffries had to treat Sayers, who ultimately died of heart failure because he had a weak heart. Jeffries told Blake afterwards that he would be brought under review for unprofessional behavior.

(Thor I#312) - Dr. Jeffries was present as Dr. Blake was brought before a board to account for his actions. After interviewing him, they suspended the review to consider the facts, and suspended Dr. Blake from practice at the clinic until the matter was settled.

(Thor I#313) - Before a decision could be reached, a budget cut came down on the clinic, and Dr. Jeffries fired Blake because he was the newest staff member, and hence the first to be let go. He apologized to Blake for what had happened.

Blake first heard of Jeffries' clinic in Thor I#267. He took his sweet time getting over to check it out!
