She can apparently also fly or at least float due to her electrical powers. It is unknown if she can control the voltage and ampere she releases at a time, but as an assassin her power should be assumed to be deadly (at least over time). She is also a highly trained hand-to-hand combatant.

(Punisher War Journal II#20 (fb) - BTS) - Illumination was a superhuman Hand assassin. When Lady Gorgon was hired by Jigsaw to kill the Punisher, Illumination was one of the superhuman assassins that joined her.

(Punisher War Journal II#20) - In an alleyway Illumination floated down on lightning created by her to join Lady Gorgon and Silhouette to face off against the Punisher.

(Punisher War Journal II#21) - Illumination blasted the Punisher with electricity while Lady Gorgon promised that he would die and be reborn that day as a member of the Hand. Val de la Fontaine, Silver Sable and Domino arrived to save the Punisher. Domino could surprise Illumination with a kick to the chin, but she quickly recovered and avoided the Silver Sable's bullets. Illumination returned fire and knocked out Silver Sable with an electrical blast. She then went after Domino, who avoided her electrical blasts until she got hold of a stop sign pole, which phased through Silhouette when she hit her. At that moment Domino allowed Illumination to hit her with an electrical blast, which knocked out Silhouette. Illumination was shocked and knocked out by Fontaine with her heat seeker gun.

Comments: Created by Matt Fraction, Rick Remender & Howard Chaykin.

Silhouette and Illumination were not seen again after this. They were presumably arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D.

Illumination was presumably a resurrected superhuman, but the source of her powers is unknown. Domino assumed her powers to be magic based. Due to the connection to the demon Beast it is likely that magic was involved.

She was identified in the Hand profile in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z HC#5 (November, 2008).
