History: (Marvel Action: Chillers I#2 (fb) - BTS) - Elsa Bloodstone inherited a mystical Blood Gem from her father. She decided to follow his career as a monster hunter while still in her teenage years.

(Marvel Action: Chillers I#2 (fb)) - On a dark and foggy night, Elsa took a stroll alone in New York's Central Park. Wearing a hood to conceal her equipment, she used herself as a bait for a trap, which a group of four vampires were unable to resist. As soon as one of them approached her, Elsa revealed her true self and easily took out all four would-be attackers. She then noticed a werewolf in Captain America's uniform walking next to what looked like Iron Man nearby. Bloodstone tried to follow them downwind but was discovered and got attacked by the werewolf. Losing her satchel in a struggle, Elsa used one of her swords to keep the werewolf's massive jaws away before losing her opponent in the fog. She looked for her satchel on the ground and just as she got attacked again, she was able to snag the satchel with the Moon Beater, her pure silver bat. This being her first encounter with a werewolf, Elsa was unsure if the silver would reverse his curse but still beat the werewolf with it until he suddenly turned back into Steve Rogers. Captain America explained how he had been turned into a werewolf by someone apparently wearing Iron Man's armor, who was reading from a strange book the Avengers had recently recovered from a Hydra cell. The two introduced themselves properly and much to Elsa's delight, Captain America offered her his help in tracking down the Iron Man armor, as Captain America himself had little experience with supernatural.

The signs of Steve and Elsa's passing by were soon discovered by Doctor Strange and Ironheart, who themselves were on the trail of the Iron Man armor.

(Marvel Action: Chillers I#4 - BTS) - Actually possessed by the Ironbound Book of Shuma-Gorath, the animated Iron Man armor freed Dracula from his coffin under what used to be an old church building. Dracula then took the armor for himself and used its broadcasting technology to extend his powers over everyone in the New York City, putting them in a mesmerized trance, including Bloodstone and Captain America. Doctor Strange countered Dracula's spell on his current companions Tony Stark, Spider-Man (Peter Parker) and Wasp (Nadia Van Dyne) before finding and freeing from Dracula's control Bloodstone and Rogers as well.

(Marvel Action: Chillers I#4) - A plan to stop the so-called "Iron Dracula" was formed and Captain America offered his best help to Bloodstone, who was going to provide a distraction for Dracula due to her unique nature. Ironheart and Wasp were looking for a way to remotely shut Dracula's Iron Man armor when Dracula found and attacked them but then Elsa taunted Dracula, drawing his attention to her in the middle of the Times Square. The Ironbound Book of Shuma-Gorath called for Dracula to finish reading the spell that would summon its master but Dracula smelled a Bloodstone in Elsa's blood and was unable to resist, ordering all of his vampire minions to attack her instead. Steve honored Elsa by letting her yell the "Avengers Assemble!" call and everyone engaged Dracula and his minions with Elsa herself shooting silver crossbow arrows from the back of Captain America's motorcycle. While Dracula was distracted with the battle against Elsa Bloodstone, Wasp shrunk down and shut down Dracula's armor from the inside, trapping him in it like an airtight coffin. Doctor Strange then bound the Book of Shuma-Gorath with the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak to neutralize it, after which Tony Stark offered to take the younger heroes out for dinner.

Earth-18157 is the reality seen in the Marvel Action series of comics published by IDW Publishing using the Marvel Comics license. --Proto-Man

The version of Elsa Bloodstone appearing in titles co-produced by Marvel and IDW Publishing is similar in many aspects to her Earth-616 counterpart so it can be presumed that her father's name is also the same. However, she is also younger (explicitly described as a teenager) and visibly much shorter than adult superheroes Captain America, Iron Man and Doctor Strange so her physical attributes and abilities cannot be likewise extrapolated.

Elsa calls the rock in her choker a Blood Gem, a slightly different spelling from the one commonly used on Earth-616. It also makes it unclear whether her choker holds merely a Bloodgem's fragment like on Earth-616 or the entire original thing.
