Powers/Abilities: Doomstomp wears "gasoline-powered" death boots. It seems likely that they may have increased his striking force, allowing him to kick or stomp with great force. However, they may instead have allowed flight or projected fire or some other type of energy.
He also had what appeared to be metal or plastic armor in his helmet (which presumalby included a one-way viewing lens (opaque from the outside)) and shoulder/upper body harness. He also wore thick gloves. It is unrevealed whether the cloth in his uniform was conventional fabric or something more durable, like kevlar or something flame-retardant.
He had some sort of pouch (or perhaps a gas tank) on his right (at least) hip region.
He seemed to carry some sort of rifle that had a hose connected to something on his person. Perhaps another gasoline-powered weapon?
He was sufficiently skilled to win a contest involving other amateur would-be heroes.
Height: Unrevealed (there is no frame of
reference, but he appears to be a little shorter than Stabbity
Jones and Doomstomp, so perhaps 5'6" to 5'10")
Weight: Unrevealed (appeared to be fairly muscular; perhaps 160 - 200 lbs.)
Eyes: Unrevealed (shadowed by helmet)
Hair: Unrevealed (obscured by helmet; apparent black goatee)
History:
(Thunderbolts II#112 (fb) - BTS) - On SF network,
as the Osborn-directed Thunderbolts opened a training program for a
second back-up team, contestants were given a day to devise their super
hero identity and power gear before participating in "Who Wants to be a
Thunderbolt?"
The contestants were sent in to "Insurgency Town," where they were to take down rogue superhumans such as Captain America and the Falcon (presumably actors/stuntmen posing as the heroes)."
Doomstomp participated in and won one such contest, advancing to the semi-finals.
(Thunderbolts II#112 - BTS) - In preparation for the next contest, Stan Lee introduced who the winner might join in the semi-finals, including Stabbity Jones and his knife-suit, Hellfang and his flamethrower mask, and Doomstomp and his gasoline-powered death boots.
(Thunderbolts II#112) - Stan asked the viewers if they wanted to be out on the streets of America, cleaning up evil...he concluded "Excelsior!"
