History:
(Spider-Woman II#4 (fb) - BTS) - As a teenager, Liz Wesselman dated Mike Clemson, who wanted a future with her. Clemson was devastated when Liz married Walt Cornwall instead.

(Spider-Woman II#1 (fb) - BTS) - Elizabeth and Walter Cornwall hired a nanny to raise their daughter, Julia, while they were off working in Africa, South America, and Borneo, filming National Geographic specials. Julia spent much of her chlidhood lonely, though her parents sent her postcards regularly. They were amused that Julia was frightened of tarantulas as a child.

(Spider-Woman II#2 (fb) - BTS) - Elizabeth worried over Julia when she was a child when her daughter had regular nightmares of spiders.

(Spider-Woman II#1 (fb) - BTS) - After Julia married Larry and had her daughter, Rachel, Walter and Elizabeth moved to Iquitos, Peru full time. They lived at the Junglerama Lodge, which had no power or running water, where they gave tours of the Amazon to tourists. They developed working relationships with the Pacqui Indians, and delighted in seeing capybaras, parrots, tapirs, and toucans in the wild. When Julia divorced Larry, the Cornwalls sent a card of condolence to Julia in Denver.

(Spider-Woman II#2 (fb) ) - Dr. Sylvie Yaqua and Hashi Noto arrived in Peru and hired the Cornwalls to guide them through the jungle, where they searched for rare spider and plant venoms. They were unaware that the results of these experiments were used to give super-powers to Julia back in Denver later.

(Spider-Woman II#1 (fb) - BTS) - When Walter and Elizabeth planned a trip to see Julia and Rachel in California, they were contacted by an old colleague, Dr. Carter Napier, who said he had critical intel to share with them in person about his government work. They arranged a visit in California.

(Spider-Woman II#1) - Walter and Elizabeth arrived in Los Angeles to visit Julia, and Elizabeth immediately noticed that Julia was much more muscular. They wondered aloud about her new mysterious job. After expressing surprise at Julia's nice new home, the Cornwalls were thrilled to be reunited with Rachel, and they brought her a tarantula from the Amazon. Rachel named the tarantula Charlotte. Napier showed up and he collapsed, covered in hives, and then died abruptly. Julia ran off to protect her family as Spider-Woman, battling the monstrous Therak, as the Cornwalls took care of Rachel, meeting housekeeper Conseula as well. Julia soon returned and collapsed in the living room, wearing a Spider-Woman costume.

(Spider-Woman II#2 (fb) - BTS) - As Jessica slept, Rachel and Consuela claimed the costume was just a workout uniform. They moved Napier's body into the spare room.

(Spider-Woman II#2) - Jessica woke up from a nightmare to find Rachel, Consuela, and her parents at her bedside. She lashed out, throwing Walter against the wall on accident, and the Cornwalls realized she was actually a super hero with powers. Julia and Rachel surprised the Cornwalls with the news that they had had their immunizations and planned to return to Peru with them, then Julia left for her mysterious job.

(Spider-Woman II#3 (fb) - BTS) - Rachel accompanied the Cornwalls back to Peru for vacation, with Julia staying behind in California. They grew concerned when they couldn't raise their aides at Junglerama, including Fuja and Toka.

(Spider-Woman II#3) - The Cornwalls navigated down the river to their home with Rachel, and Juan greeted them. There, they found corpses covered in markings (like those on Napier) before they were apprehended by the Manipulator and his monstrous Death Web. The Manipulator demanded they show him the toxins they once showed to Napier. Manipulator took Rachel away, threatening to kill her, and the Death Web took the Cornwalls into the jungle. When Walter offended the mutates, Therak struck him, but the Cornwalls soon realized that the Manipulator was blackmailing the mutates, holding an antidote they needed to stay alive from them. The Cornwalls led the villains up rope bridges into the trees, where the bridges soon broke underneath them. Julia revealed herself as Spider-Woman, saving her parents as she learned that Rachel had been taken. Spider-Woman battled Deathweb as her parents ran and hid, and they watched as Julia was captured by the villains.

(Spider-Woman II#4 - BTS) - Spider-Woman defeated Deathweb and saved Rachel.

(Ms. Marvel II#7 (fb) - BTS) - When Spider-Woman got in trouble for breaking a law involving the registration of super heroes, Rachel was sent to live with the Cornwalls, who now lived in Colorado.

(Ms. Marvel II#8 (fb) - BTS) - Julia arrived at the Cornwalls' home and stayed there.

(Ms. Marvel II#8) - S.H.I.E.L.D. showed up, flanked by Ms. Marvel, Wonder Man, and Arana, seeking to get the Cornwalls and Rachel to Canada before learning that Julia was already there. Julia chose to fight back, to teach a lesson to Rachel about standing up for what is right, but she ended up badly beaten and arrested in front of Rachel, and the Cornwalls' home was badly damaged. The Cornwalls kept Rachel as Julia was taken away.

(Ms. Marvel II#14 (fb) - BTS) - The Cornwalls took Rachel to Ohio to raise her, and kept their whereabouts a secret from Julia.

(Ms. Marvel II#14) - When Julia showed up at their home, the Cornwalls tried begging her to give Rachel a chance at a happy, normal life, but Julia took her away anyway, to raise her herself.
