Powers/Abilities: A trained warrior and hunter in his youth, Chiga also received training as a witch doctor, learning magic words to summon winds. Chiga could direct these winds into whirlwinds that could carry his victims away from him, and he could ride these whirlwinds himself.

History:
(Lorna, the Jungle Girl#11/2 (fb) - BTS) - Growing up in a tribe in the
Congo, Chiga was considered a great hunter, and he had training as a
witch doctor, but in time he became elderly and nearly toothless.
Wanting to be considered great again, Chiga taught himself ancient
magic words that would allow him to control typhoons. He then made
plans to remove every warrior and dangerous animal in the region,
relocating them far away to the unexplored Gray Marsh, so that he could
be the only man left on his tribe.
(Lorna, the Jungle Girl#11/2) - Typhoons pulled away many warriors, including Muga, and massive creatures that Chiga considered threats, including Numa the lion, but Lorna the Jungle Girl (with Mikki the monkey) managed to escape the typhoon that targeted her. After the husband of Igana disappeared, Lorna and Greg Knight investigated, and Chiga removed Greg with another typhoon. Pretending to be distressed, Chiga approached Lorna, saying he was now the only one left to provide for his tribe, and she said it was now his responsibility to feed all of the women and children. Chiga then revealed his duplicity, hitting Lorna and Mikki with a typhoon that sent them away. Chiga soon rode a whirlwind to check on his victims and he was shocked to see Lorna still alive. Now believing Lorna was the most powerful thing in the jungle, Chiga was humbled and followed her orders to send everyone back in the whirlwinds.
