Powers/Abilities: Calderak is a mutant with the appearance of a volcano; a rock hard magma-like exterior and a molten lava-core. While talking, Calderak spews his molten lava which will presumably be between 1,300° F and 2,200° F. An Arakkii mutant, Calderak grew up in a war-torn world causing him to become highly volatile. He's presumably an experienced combatant. Calderak, like all other mutants can access the many Krakoan portals granting her access to the corners of the world and beyond.

History:
(Planet-Size X-Men - BTS) - Following the terraforming of Mars and subsequent rechristening it Arakko, the millions of Arakii mutants of the once-lost island had been given new homes on this new land, amongst them Calderak.
(S.W.O.R.D. II#8 - BTS) - Developing his hatred for the Regent of Arakko, Krakoan mutant Storm, Calderak planned to challenge the mutant for her seat on the Great Ring of Arakko, the planet's ruling body. Like most Arakkii, Calderak considered Krakoans to be unworthy.
(S.W.O.R.D. II#8) - Calderak appeared in the Circle Perilous and challenged Storm while Frenzy and Khora were amongst the spectators. Although Storm was nowhere to be seen, Calderak boosted himself, arrogantly proclaiming the Krakoan would be to afraid to face him. However, just then Storm appeared, using her mutant abilities to create a powerful snowstorm until the Arakkii mutant yielded. Their dual was recorded by Ora Serrata who held the seat of law on the Great Ring of Arakko to confirm it was in accordance with the law.

Caldera is a volcanic crater that has a diameter many times that of the vent and is formed by collapse of the central part of a volcano or by explosions of extraordinary violence.
