(Fantastic Four I#15) - Bones and his associate Shorty ventured into New York to recruit the Human Torch for the Bones 'n Bailey Circus. Days later, the Human Torch performed fiery tricks to the delight of the Bones 'n Bailey Circus patrons but he began to feel like the public applause was empty and that he couldn't take much more of the same old routine. Soon after, the Human Torch decided to leave the Circus and return to the Fantastic Four.
