History:

(X-Men '92 II#1 - BTS) - After Professor Charles Xavier opened the Xavier Institute to the public, Clarice Ferguson was one of the many young teenagers that enrolled at the Xavier Institute. Because of her mutation, she took the codename Blink.

(X-Men '92 II#1) - Blink was seen walking through the school's hallways during the first day of the semester. The students were shocked when X-Man Rogue came crashing through the school's walls when she was training with Gambit. Not much later Blink, M, Synch and other students attended Beast's class when mutant assassin Maverick came crashing through the classroom's window. Coming to warn the X-Men, Maverick fainted prompting Beast to dismiss his class.

(X-Men '92 II#6 - BTS) - In an effort to make sure the entire student body would fully recover from their encounter with Alpha Red, Charles Xavier grounded the entire student body. The students were upset they couldn't attend the first Lilapalooza, a giant music festival celebrating mutants and music.

(X-Men '92 II#10 (fb) - BTS) - Upset they were forbidden to visit the Lilapalooza music festival, Blink, Doop, Vivisector and Synch used their time to train in the Danger Room. Professor X, however, had turned down the difficulty levels as well, causing the students to easily defeat the Sentinels. Blink joined Doop on a skateboard as he discovered how to hack into the level structure.

(X-Men '92 II#10) - While Vivisector complained about the Danger Room settings, Blink and Doop returned on their skateboards revealing they'd built a skate park. However, before the students could enjoy the "killer" skate park they were surprised by the sudden arrival of Cyclops and Jean Grey who'd traveled back in time from 2099 A.D. of Earth-928. The senior X-Men had acquired the Darkhold from President Doom (Victor von Doom of Earth-928) which could be used in the X-Men's fight against Xodus the Forgotten. Blink, Doop and Vivisector stayed behind while Synch joined Cyclops and Jean Grey to meet the X-Men.

Although Blink of Earth-616 has lilac skin and dark pink hair she was portrayed as brown-skinned in X-Men '92 II#10. Personally I believe this to be a coloring issue; in her first appearance she's walking into a shadow and colored adjustably, the colorist of the second issue most likely took it as her having brown skin.

When, in 2015's Secret Wars, the Multiverse was destroyed following the incursions of planets it appeared as if Reality-92131 was drafted onto Battleworld as the Westchester domain. All Earth-92131 profiles on the Marvel Appendix reflected that information, however, this has since been debunked with the news that the original X-Men: The Animated Series will receive a brand new season to pick up where the original series ended. As such the reality seen in two volumes of X-Men '92 (2015-2017) now have their own reality-designation. The X-Men '92: House of XCII 2022 series was inspired by both the animated series and Hickman's House of X run but is its own separate reality. Nearly thirty years after X-Men: The Animated Series first debuted the new season will appear on Disney+ in fall 2023.
